   Hi all the girls at the reception was really kind and I enjoyed my stay there maybe stay with u.again sometime In future plus the food chains was in reasonable reach with. The car also really decent beer too it was my first visit thanks going out to all the beautiful reception girls from me

   A lovely place to stay! Staff so friendly and helpful, big thank you to Shane & Andy. Room so comfortable with a sea view. Lovely bar too. Would thoroughly recommend if visiting Barry. Near train station and all amenities. Thank you Mount Rooms!

   We booked 4 nights to visit my daughter nearby. I think the main thought is, "you get what you pay for"! The bed linen was clean, but the bed was hard and not comfortable. The towels were good, bath, sink and toilet all clean with what appeared to be a new over bath shower. The bathroom was very small, I could rest my chin on the sink sitting on the toilet.(I am 5ft 2) So would have been a challenge for a larger person. The room was dated with cobwebs on the window and some black mould. The bedroom was very shabby, one of the windows had 2 cracks in it. The room was situated at the front, so sadly the noisy bar( on Saturday eve, until 2 am) was not welcome, nor the folks standing out front smoking, which wafted into our room! We didn't have much interaction with members of staff. Note to owners, you really need to update your room photos!! Thet certainly did not reflect our room.

   Recently stayed here, well I say stayed we were asked to leave as apparently too demanding and entitled. The staff were rude, rooms were poor, we had to take the shower down just to be able to wash ourselves. The front of the hotel were covered in cigarette ends and the reception area stank of smoke. I'm asthmatic and asked if it would be possible to borrow a fan for our stay as our room was hot, I used my manners and I was branded entitled and demanding. I was told to bring my own next time and they're cheap enough on amazon! The way we were dealt with was awful. Will not be staying here again.

   Had a lovely stay, Morgan who was on the desk and bar was so welcoming and lovely. Not sure why this place has some bas reviews but its a great spot. Super clean and really ideal for a stay. My room was clean and had eveything I needed. I even forgot my USB plug and they even gave me one to charge my device. Would 100% stay again. They have parking which is limited but I got a spot and I arrived after 6pm which is free. Also the private bar is open till 1am. All i can say is that you for a great stay.

   Comfy! Sleepy! Very pleasant room, and staff are lovely, especially the young girl at the desk - served us a lovely pint! Looking at the other reviews, I really don't see how they had a problem. We had body wash for the shower, there was hot water, towels and also hand soap. A hairdryer is also provided. We had 2 teabags, coffee, milk and a kettle as well, which was lovely after our flight to have to relax and unwind. The room itself yes it's small, but it's clean and inviting, and warm which is important due to the weather outside! Bar was nice too, honestly everything was grand! Yeah it's not a 5 star hotel, but you get what you pay for and I'm very happy indeed.

   Not sure why this place is attracting bad reviews. The room was clean and comfortable food available pleasant accommodating staff. It's easy to moan about a place but I think the price should reflect people's comments. Ask if you want an extra pillow ask if the duvet isn't thick enough I am sure they would be happy to oblige. Definitely I would stop again

   Great location for all amenities. A clean room and comfy bed. Hot shower, tv,towels and a full length Mirror a bonus. Stayed for 2 nights and even had towels changed and bed made...great service very polite staff and also helpful. It is a budget hotel so didn't go in with a 5* Outlook....but it looks very nice and inviting and our room was spotless. Weather fantastic...didn't need a fan in room as could open window and high ceilings in the spacious room we stayed in made it very comfortable despite the heat. I would recommend parking on the road as the car park is very sloping and we did have a minor issue. No effect on our lovely stay. Keep up the fantastic work you are already doing and thank you for your wonderful hospitality.....you are all very pleasant and when asked for anything they can't do enough. Thank you for all your hard work.
