First time staying in Vale Resort. The room provided was spacious, but a bit outdated with some old furniture and marks on the walls and carpet. The leisure facilities were really nice, with the use of gym, pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna included in our stay. The service was really nice too. Breakfast was disappointing with hot food lacking taste, cold and dry. The location is beautiful with the short walk to the castle and lake. Overall happy with our stay

We had an amazing stay! I came with my partner for a break before Christmas and the receptionist Laura couldn’t do enough to make sure our break was memorable. She made sure we had everything we need and went above and beyond, thank you Laura!

Absolutely loved our stay here. Lovely spacious clean rooms. A very enjoyable health suite. But the food really topped it off for me. The chicken was delicious and would eat again in a heartbeat! Lovely service from the staff in the restaurant who were kind enough to make up a special occasion plate for us.

I attended a festive party with work colleagues. The meal was lovely, lots of staff serving and clearing. Great music to dance to. We stayed the night too. Our room was comfortable, clean modern

We love this hotel. We got married here 13 years ago and come here once a year to celebrate. The rooms are great, the staff are friendly. The location and views are amazing. We stayed here last night and ate in the Vale Grill. Our host was Lewis and he was fantastic. Very attentive, and even though it was busy he still made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us throughout the meal. The food was great, I had the Orzo Risotto and my husband had the Hanger Steak. Would highly recommend to anyone planning a visit.

Overall great stay. Food excellent and good coeliac knowledge. Some paint work a little dated eg on doors all scuffed. Was a little disappointed when we booked a treatment onto our stay they couldn't accommodate us meaning we used pool etc and then had to go back for treatment

Didn't stay but had Christmas lunch here with family in the Vale grill. Room was decorated beautifully as were the dining tables. Our waitress, Megan, looked after us well and nothing was too much trouble for her. Food was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended

We booked a double room but they gave us a twin. We had to ask three times for the beds to be put together before they did this on the second night of our stay. The breakfast was luke warm to cold. Our room had cups but no saucers and dirty cups were not changed during room service. The pool and jacuzzi were closed during the last day of our three day stay. We did try and discuss our concerns with the manager who made us wait whilst she was busy in the office. In the end we decided to leave and did not speak to her. Overall we will not be going back.

Quality Stay My wife & I had a fantastic time during our night away with friends. I had a round of golf on the National course which although wet was very well kept, while the other half enjoyed a spa day with afternoon tea which was very nice. We ate in the restaurant where I had a delightful 3 courses of Welsh cuisine with the cockles & laverbread to start being the highlight! Our room was spacious & very clean with a comfortable bed & a powerful shower. All the hotel staff were helpful & extremely polite in particular Luke giving a perfect recommendation for a bottle of Rioja to accompany the meal! Breakfast was delicious with a great range to choose from while also being quickly restocked. From top to bottom this hotel is easily one of the best run we have stayed in & we can’t wait to return! Kind Regards, Moonman

The hotel room was lovely, the food in the evening was absolutely beautiful. Friendly check in and very accommodating. I’m extremely disappointed in the Spa, we have full use of the Spa along with a treatment (which was lovely) however the relaxation areas have gone down hill abit. The comfortable throws have been taken away, the beds were not like these used to be, very hard and not very comfortable at all, extremely disappointing let the experience down. :-(
