Harriet, the ‘customer advisor’ in Boots Kew Retail park was having a bad day. Harriet refused to (1) lift her finger to check the price of the Tony&Guy hair product for me (2) she then refused to refund me the difference when I’ve done her job and checked that the product has indeed been reduced from £10 to £6.66, both as per the shelf label and online. Her colleague looked the product up and confirmed that I am in fact not having her on. Please note at this point I already paid just to avoid being branded a thief and looked at disapprovingly by Harriet. Harriet was not giving up. She was adamant that ‘Bed Head Tigi Curls Rock Amplifier cream 113ml’ isn’t the same as ‘Bed Head by TIGI curls rock amplifier cream 100ml’. In fact she stood her ground so solidly she started telling me about product codes and told her colleague, pointing at me, she isn’t honouring the discount. The discount which is available on the product label and online. Agree I will be getting extra 13ml out of the bottle but could it be Boots hasn’t updated its label in line with product bottle change? Hmm I sense that’s highly likely. With such a strong sense of duty to Boots pricing Harriet needs to consider whether she would be more suitable in for instance the Ministry of Defence office, or like any back office?! Customer ‘success’ isn’t a strong point I dare say. On a serious note, Boots, stop handing out customer advisor badges willy-nilly and do have a chat to Harriet about attitude. Put me right off going to that Boots again.

Dear Boots Kew, please inform your chemists that Allevia Hives are to be used to treat hay fever too and it is not exclusively for someone who has a rash. I was rudely directed to buy the 120 mg instead of the 180mg, although the 120 mg version does not help my severe allergic symptoms. Please employ more knowledgeable staff, as it is not the first time when I have been misdirected in this particular store. Some better customer service skills would’t hurt either.

Store is huge but has poor selection of products and small stock.I bought shampoo, load of them where open and liquid all over bottles but on the shelf, prices at till where £1 extra compered with shelf price on 2 out of 3 products. At the till I received an "receipt " with a promotion but not the actual receipt of what I bought.Store assistant difficult to find, not enough staff. This is my experience in this store.Boots being probably the biggest player in "health and beauty" market should introduce digital receipt in the app.

The pharmacy counter asked me to wait ten minutes as they were busy sorting through other prescriptions and then were about to serve other people before I reminded the lady with grey hair in ponytail that I had been waiting ten minutes only to be told that they couldn't give me my prescription until the Pharmacist returned from lunch. This member of staff seems to have a bit of an issue in general and seems to profile her attitude depending on people's accents or dress code. The rest of the staff are excellent.

Generally a good shop, with good deals. A few of the staff are nice and professional. However, NO customer service whatsoever from several staff members. Refusing to sell at advertised price or deal (even after showing the tag), standing next to you and checking you scanned every item and telling you that you haven’t scanned an item (before you even have a chance to do it yourself). Never felt treated like a criminal to this degree, before even getting through the first few items. Either they need to look after their staff better or offer more training.

I like coming to this boots because it stays open late and there is plenty of free parking, convenient for when you need to pick up something after work. The store is larger than your average high street branch of boots and stocks a larger range of items. I can't say what it's like during the day on a week day, as I usually come in evening or at the weekend, but it's never been very busy when I've been here, even at seemingly busier times it never feels crowded.

I am writing for assistant manager, Luca, a 5star review for his great help putting time to resolve an online purchase! He showed a great deal of professionalism and capability handling the matter. Looking forward seeing him as the Manager soon since the local people have’t been happy with the way this store has been running for a while!

It's a large store and it doesn't feel crowded even when it's busy. It looks like they have a large selection of products, although sometimes the stock is low. An aisle at the back of the store which usually has the discounted products is usually very messy. I received excellent service from the staff that did the booster vaccine earlier this year. The waiting area was well organised and their system was very efficient.
