   Not sure why, but was not welcome here. Could not book house sitting or pet stay - as the staff don't have their calendars updated that far in advance... strange. More of a ploy to stop me booking with them. Walkers changed all the time. Walker did not know that puppies lose their teeth. Another walker always petting/slapped my boy directly on top of his head... who does that to a dog? One occasion, pup was able to eat a whole pack of butter. My boy was not allowed to socialise with their other dogs. Not sure why all these things happened. I have a young GSD.. a boisterous, playful pup - who is very well socialised with other dogs, all he wants to do is play... he now plays at Hollow Ponds every day with numerous other dogs, of all shapes, breeds and sizes and is a perfect gentleman. They said I was welcome to find someone else to look after my boy... so I did. Cheaper and much more experienced with big dogs. They couldn't wait for us to leave. Not welcomed at all.

   Happy Hounds has been nothing short of amazing. They're such a great, professional and genuinely caring company. On a few occasions we've been really stuck for someone to look after our pup and they always go out of their way to try and help us out. Our pup absolutely loves his two-weekly walks with Maison, it's nice knowing he's with someone who adores him as much as we do and takes care of him like he were her own. The group walks have also been excellent for socialising him, turning him from a sometimes reactive dog to a dog that gets on with everyone. I can't rate them highly enough.

   I don’t know who loves Happy Hounds more…me or the dog! They are amazing, very well set up at the beginning with registration, information and communication! Excellent settling in plan for the dog and lovely updates and communication throughout the day letting you know how your pup is getting on! Our dog flies out of the house on collection, so excited! And comes back a happy (and tired!) pup! Could not recommend more highly and so pleased we found them!

   HappyHounds are the best thing to have happened to our dog. He has been going on a weekly walk and daycare day for 2 years now (since he was 6mo) and he absolutely loves it! We also often use their boarding services when we are on holidays, and we leave knowing he is in the best hands and having the time of his life! All staff are so loving and caring, our dog has really bonded with them, and they have always been really flexible and helpful whenever we have had any last minute requests. I don't think we will ever stop using their services, thank you HH for everything you do!

   I’ve been using Happy Hounds for three years and I cannot recommend them enough. My dog, Dottie, goes there for day care a few times a week, we also use the walking service and the boarding service when we’re away. All the staff are amazing. Really friendly and give a very personal service - they will always contact me if they’ve noticed any changes in Dottie’s behaviour or if they think she needs anything. She largely goes to the same sitter and so it must feel like a second home for her. It means when we go on holiday I know she’s happy and safe. Their service is flexible and they will always do their best to accommodate last minute requests. Dottie is always super excited when she’s collected by them so I can say with confidence that she would recommend them too!

   My dog has been doing a day a week walk plus daycare with Happy Hounds since January 2021, and we recently increased to two days as I’m spending more time in the office. We have a very lively active dog and I don’t think we could manage without Happy Hounds. Our dog absolutely adores going, it’s obvious from the way she rushes to the door when her walker comes to collect her, and from the photos I’m sent that she has an absolute ball, and she comes home happily exhausted and peaceful. Communication with the team regarding vaccination certificates and additional bookings is always very efficient and friendly, and I highly recommend Happy Hounds.

   Happy Hounds are a great team who help us care for our dog with daycare, grooming, and overnight / weekend care. The whole team are friendly and helpful, and our dog loves her time playing with her friends and it makes sure she gets the engagement needed to support her. We'd be lost without them!

   From my initial contact, Chloe and the team have been very helpful and prompt in their responses. When we arrived for our appointment I explained to Reinaldo (groomer) what cut we wanted and my query with regards to our puppy's matted hair. Our thanks and praises to everyone at Happy Hounds & Cooler Cats for your amazing service, we will definitely would recommend and use you again. For reference I have attached an image showing our puppy before and after his groom.
