I had such a great experience at Boots Orpington thanks to Laura. After years of struggling to find the right foundation shade and formula for my skin type, she took the time to really listen, test different options, and explain why certain products would work better for me. She was so patient and knowledgeable, and I left feeling confident with my purchase for the first time in ages. Iβd highly recommend asking for Laura if youβre looking for expert, friendly advice on makeup!

Terrible customer service. I went in looking for a specific colour and format of lipstick, and needing help with finding the right product. There were a group of Boots employees clustered over by a till, chatting and giggling, and ignoring customers unless they were specifically approached and asked for assistance. I looked at the products myself to see if I could find what I was looking for, without success. Finally, one of the girls detached herself from the group and came to ask if I wanted help. I told her what I was looking for and she immediately selected a random lipstick in completely the wrong shade, and wrong format. Having handed her two items I wanted to try on, I found they weren't quite right and advised that I would like to try a specific shade from another manufacturer. She said, "Okay," and wandered off - I assumed to go and sanitise the lipstick for me to try on. I waited a couple of minutes and then went over to find that she had completely disappeared. I eventually found her back with her colleagues, chatting and giggling again, and again completely ignoring not only myself but all the other customers (several elderly) who clearly needed assistance. There were dirty, discarded tissues, cotton buds, and bits of make-up covered cotton wool all over the counters, filthy displays, and a complete lack of interest from any staff in engaging with anyone except each other. I gave up and left the store. Boots obviously doesn't want people in its stores who might actually buy things. Maybe you should take down the signs telling people all about your "impartial" product experts who will be only too happy to help customers, because that's patently untrue.

Needed to make a return for something unused, unopened, and in its original packaging. Didnβt have the receipt but I did have the original form of payment. When I googled if boots takes returns without the receipt it said β If you're returning an unused item bought within the last 35 days without a receipt, Boots may still offer a refund or exchange. However, this is contingent on the items being in a saleable condition and not damagedβ.β When I went to return it to this location, where I purchased the item, the manager told me no. It was up to their discretion and they didnβt want to take my return.

Been several times at this location. Just want to mention the great customer service and help MUNISHE presented to me. She is just amazing, polite, sweet, all the time with a smule on her face great behaviour and she even helped me out with the Boots card when most of her colleagues just ignored me because too lazy to help a customer with the activation of a card. I have no idea what Munisheβ s position work is but She deserves to be on top of the customer service. Im not even a fussy person just a customer who likes to receive a right behaviour and a helpful one. Thank you Munishe.

Stacey on the Estee lauder counter couldn't have been more helpful today, she went above and beyond to help me with my purchase. She was polite, friendly and smiley. I only went in to smell perfumes and came out with one of the face cream sets. I would recommend going into the boots in nugent centre.

Today I visited the store and whilst I was waiting for assistance regarding a product a member of staff was busy assisting someone else but when it was my turn she looked at me and continued assisting people that were behind me. So rude. I walked away so upset and found a lovely lady who helped me straight away to find the lipgloss I was looking for ages :-)

I was trying the tester foundations on the back on my hand and had the same assistant came over to me twice. I said i was fine and just looking at shades and she continued to stand there with her nose turned up at me like i was trying to steal something. I said something like 'right i'll go then' and she did a snide 'yeahhh' and walked me to the door. So bizarre and rude!

Debenhams had an upstairs and downstairs, this only had a big downstairs. It has the stands like the Boots in Bromley and way more than the one in Orpington. It also had self checkout. Came in to buy a few of something but only had one at the time but it's a neat Boots, just what you expect but with more lights.
