   Great, fun nights out with a largely student crowd. The best part is the pleasant beer garden which is a perfect quiet spot in the middle of the city. Toilets are down a skinny flight of stairs so not the best place if you have mobility issues

   Lovely bar just off the high street (Queen Street). Offers wide selection of high quality cocktails and craft beers until early morning. Open 7 days/nights a week the venue also hosts various music events over the weekend and live band performances. During the day one can take advantage of the food offerings such as a selection of burgers with locally sourced meats.

   Very trendy Angeles good bar/pub. Nice selection of beers and spirits. Very popular with locals. Evenings offer live music and on weekends you need to pay to get in. Staff is polite and professional. I would recommend a visit as it has been on Cardiff scene for a while now.

   Go go buffalo. Great place. It's a really busy hidden away gem of Cardiff that regardless of the crowd that's in their it's always a good night in their. So it's quite small but don't let that swayed you from your stay because the well lit and well heated beer garden is massive and very accommodating. The alcoholic beverages here are great and very creative, you should check out the cocktails first before you move to the tasty and unusual spirits. Although every time I've been here I've enjoyed it. I'd avoid rave night which is in the upstairs venue. But yeah go check it out. Go have fun.
