   I Instructed Andrea and her team to handle the sale of my late Mothers house as I was the executor of the estate. This was the second conveyancing that Andrea had done for me,the first being the purchase of our current house.I can quite honestly say that the experience has been absolutley brilliant,and Andrea has acted efficiently with every query that has been sent.    Howells Solicitors was our buyer’s Solicitors who were first time buyers. Towards the end of the process of selling our home we needed to complete at the end of the month with exchange of contracts a week before. All parties were onboard with this and were working towards both these mile stones on the buying /selling process. One week before completion we were told that the buyers Solicitors was on holiday until the Wednesday before competition which was unacceptable as we needed to give notice to our purchase, change over bills and confirm to our removers we were moving on the given completion day. After pushing on our Solicitors and Estate Agents we were told a Solicitor in Howells Cardiff branch could sign the paperwork off before Wednesday. We were told that Howells Solicitors also had a scanner issue and computer problems until Wednesday conveniently and we ended up exchanging at 5pm before the completion date after a lot of chasing on our part with our Estate Agents and Solicitors. Howells Solicitors are incompetent in its entirety and nearly caused the chain to fall through. If you are looking to buy or sell a house avoid these cowboys at all costs!

I have enjoyed friendly, courteous and, above all, expert professional advice throughout this period. Charging rates are good value and I would have no hesitation in recommending this firm to friends and family.

   Outstanding level of service - I highly recommend this practice. Not only highly professional, but Howells also take time to PERSONALISE their service by telephoning their clients with progress updates. What solicitor DOES that these days? They also use text and email to keep you updated on your conveyance. When I had some complications in my sale documents the partner Mike called me to sort them out quickly and efficiently, even though he was extremely busy. Not many of the solicitors that I use would take a minute more than necessary for a regular conveyance like mine. Working with Howells makes a huge difference when one is dealing with several property sales at once.
