This is what "fresh to order" looks like. If you can't cook chips, or send them in an edible fashion, perhaps a chip shop isn't for you? These chips were as dry as a rotting floorboard. The owner will no doubt play the denial game and wash off any responsibility, but the truth of the matter is that elephants have great memories - and so do your customers.
I've never made a complaint on here before but I feel as though it's necessary. Me and my partner ordered some chips late last night (20/12/23). The chips were clearly cooked in old oil and as you can see from the image above had loads of black bits on them. The sausage and batter was also re-fried and came out very crusty and tasteless. Me and my partner now feel very sick this morning. Don't go here. Terrible service and food.
I ordered a cheeseburger meal and a fish and chips. They forgot to fill chips into the burger meal, I called they offered to refill the chips but I am a 20 minutes drive away and the inconvenience of going back to the shop to get some chips, just isn’t worth it. The food was lovely though. Would recommend just check you have your full order.
I would have rated this higher as the fish was fried fresh whilst I waited and the chips looked good. Despite me asking for extra vineger and watching the guy literally soak my entire fish and chips with vinegar, there was no taste of vinegar at all. I don't understand why some of these fish and chip shops dilute their vinegar down. How much are they going to save? Pennies?
Absolutely delicious fresh tasty and super affordable prices. Delivers on time and well packaged. I Absolutely love the kebab in batter .. and the chip were so soft and perfect, no grease at all. I recommend this chippy to everyone. So many options that you won't find in other chippys. My favourite.

Best fish and chips in Cardiff!! Me and my boyfriend go here regularly and always look forward to it. Great quality food and for a good price. The staff are always friendly too.
chips: 7 out of 10, not bad. But a little bit soggy after 10 minutes biking to home Cod: Solid 9.5 out of 10, really crispy outside, and tender inside. Really good Service: 10 out of 10. I ordered by phone in advance. When I arrived the shop, just perfectly timely got my food. Really good service. I Would recommend!
