   They do an incredible job helping injured animals. It was late evening when I brought a baby pigeon in and the lady who took him in was very nice. I'm certain they take great care. Ample parking. I recommend just bringing the animal in yourself if possible and don't need to phone them first. I don't want to say anything negative but I will echo some other reviews that sometimes if you phone you can get quite a sharp answer. I gather they are very busy though.

   Great lovely little place! The lady at the desk was lovely and was able to examine the injured pigeon I had found in my garden struggling pretty fast. I got pretty attached to this pigeon so I was really worried because the condition of the pigeon was pretty bad, it couldn’t even fly within the span of 4 days. but I’m glad to know that it’s in a safe trustworthy place now :) I do hope it gets better, such a chill lil guy If you’re wondering to come to this place it’s worth a shot! It’s free of charge. I gave them money to help support them, as a lil thank you :D I will come again if i ever get myself into a situation like this!

   Earlier today I saw this trapped pigeon at a four story flat dangling from some net and string at around 11:30am.I tried contacting local services for any advice or help such as RSPCA ,local fire brigade and a couple others.But no one was able to.Fortunately,when I went to check up on it at 18:00.I noticed it had fell from the top floor and was struggling to move as it was wrapped in the string.Then decided to try phone a couple other numbers.Thankfully stumbled across the South Essex wildlife hospital online and called the number, which was answered immediately.Big shout out to Sue.She gave me advice on how to keep the pigeon until her arrival to pick up the pigeon.Thank you so much for your service Sue ,and your kindness and help.God bless you and stay happy.The world needs more people like this.Thank you once again Sue and the South Essex Wildlife Hospital team.Will definitely be donating.

   Fantastic facility. I called them in with a hurt pigeon and they asked me to bring him in since it wasn’t like dying, so I brought it in and they carefully examined it and took it, got my info and kept me posted on its recovery. I donated £10 as well as a sign of gratitude.

   Brought in a juvenile hedgehog. Hopefully it'll be okay for release next year. Wonderful shop on site too! Nice unusual gifts. They also take donations of food/towels and of course money. A wonderful wildlife hospital well worth supporting.

   What an amazing place. These people go above and beyond to help injured animals. I have collected two pairs of hedgehogs to release in my garden and they're doing well. There is a lovely selection of gifts to buy in the main reception area, from keyrings to hedgehog houses.

   Perfect place to bring injured wildlife - the staff are wonderful, and the fact that they are going to do the best for injured wildlife is so reassuring.
