“We use riverside vets for a majority of the animals under our rescues care. They also serve and help other rescues in the area. No matter how big or small, nice or angry our animals are it isn’t at all a worry for this lovely team. They treat every animal with the care and love they deserve. It’s a shame to see the BBC slandering vets around costs. Not all of them charge a fortune, every vet practice is different. Would highly recommend this team. Affordable, caring and always go the extra mile. Thank you team, from all of us and the cats here at cat lady”

“Has most of the items you would need for various pets. I have a ball python and the staff an knowledgeable about them and have the frozen rats i need for food. Staff all seem like genuine pet lovers/animal lovers which goes a long way in these kind of stores. Shoped here for many years for dog/snake/guinea pigs. Always helpfull.”

“Rooms are clean, kitchen area and bathrooms both spotless, all looks quite new. The room is basic with a comfortable bed and a wardrobe, it is as described. Easy to find, right on the high street.”

“I have never left my dog in a kennel and after reading many reviews and going there and taking to other people, I put my dog in for 1 night and was so happy they understood my concerns I spoke to Tracey the owner and the staff are great and so reassuring. I have been back again and would recommend them always brilliant staff and so professional”

“They do an incredible job helping injured animals. It was late evening when I brought a baby pigeon in and the lady who took him in was very nice. I'm certain they take great care. Ample parking. I recommend just bringing the animal in yourself if possible and don't need to phone them first. I don't want to say anything negative but I will echo some other reviews that sometimes if you phone you can get quite a sharp answer. I gather they are very busy though.”

“Our 1 year old German Shepherd, Poppy, absolutely loves her day care days with Turner and Pooch - she literally batters down the front door in the morning to see Mike when he arrives and always returns home tired and happy. She also had a grooming session and came home looking and smelling gorgeous! Nikki, Andy and the team treat the dogs as their own and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!”

Me and my partner had a lovely experience from the lady behind the til, we didn’t catch her name but she was blonde, glasses and butterfly tattoo on her neck, she was absolutely lovely she made conversation with us, she made us laugh and her customer service was spot on! Very rare in nowerdays society to have a decent chat with someone who’s actually down to earth and humerus. Thankyou so much to the lady that served us today 5 stars from us! “This is the second time that we have taken our dog Buster to prim and proper pooches at Tracey,s new shop in st chads road Tilbury. We cannot thank Tracy enough for the excellent service she and her team provide, they are very professional and meet busters every needs. We would highly recommend Tracey to everyone for every loving dog owner. We also like that Tracey provides dog products at the shop that we can buy.”

“Excellent Place, lots to choose from, based on Iceland products. Wide range of goods from frozen to tinned to packet food, small Electrical items. Parking lot is a bit fiddly with only one way out, with plenty of idiots pissballing about trying 8 attempts to reverse into a space. If they drove in forward or acted positively there would be no problems.”

“We visited here for Afternoon Tea with Father Christmas. We were a large group of 10 (adults and children). The venue was beautifully decorated for the festive season. Food was delicious and offered alternatives for the vegetarians in our group. Joe Banana was the entertainer for the afternoon and he did not disappoint. The Father Christmas was very good. Plenty of activities for the children to keep them occupied. Would definitely return.”

“People that have already been to this store, know how friendly and helpful the staff there are. The owner is very well known around Essex for how much he helps his customers and I can see why. All of the staff are very knowledgeable and easy going. I got my fish tn installed at my home with filter and all for very cheap! Thank you guys!”

“Great hotel, clean rooms, good breakfast, lovely staff members, plenty of parking, you have to pay for parking here, if like us you are a blue badge holder it's free. Easy access from here to Lakeside and a big Sainsbury's just around the corner”

“Location is fantastic . We decided to stay over after a visit to Lakeside and go out to the boom battle bar. The staff were all lovely from reception to the breakfast staff . Breakfast was very nice , good quality sausages and lots of cereals, pastries. Would stay here again . Basic but had everything we needed”

“We have used Mel & Kim for boading our sweet boy for years and would not trust anyone else. They're a fantastic couple who I constantly recommend to people. He is walked lots, played with and cuddled, just like being at home. We get constant contact and pictures, which we love. Our boy is well looked after and is always happy when picked up. He absolutely loves them to bits”
