   We spent a week at Mrs. Fig's House in Sept. 2024, and had a really restful stay. Thankyou! The cottage is warm, well equipped and comfortable, and set in beautiful, peaceful countryside. The owner is friendly and helpful, and we would definitely come and stay again. We even bought our own sheepswool duvet after a week under one there! Highly recommended.

   We stayed for a week in May 2023. 'We' are a couple of 60+ year olds who have stayed in many a self-catering cottage. Mrs Fig's rates as one of the very best. It is small and perfectly formed. The quality of building work, fittings and furniture is high. The style is artistic cosy homeliness - no cheap 'it will do' furniture here. Kitchen well appointed. Shower room is tiny which we saw as part of the charm. Views astonishing. Hosts very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

   Nice cosy place, it is a comfortable and quite place. There will be places for a hike to the Keighley Moor Reservoir through Pennine Way, distance are not so far but will be a nice walk, wind are strong and make sure to wear warm and bring some water with you to hydrate. The place is good for a good rest and wind down Host Sarah and John are really friendly and so is Tex their dog.
