Joel Evans who is a partner in the firm has stated that he did not have a copy of the note of the value of my mother's jewellery that she stated she wished to have attached to her November 2018 will. He provided a witness statement stating that he failed to keep a written and electronic copy of the completely different will she apparently wrote in January 2020. He states the conversation about the change of the will was carried out over the phone, why? It seems very incompetent for a partner in a law firm to fail to store and retrieve an attendance note and to fail to keep a note of the value of jewellery with a will. I would not recommend using this firm to write a will.
My wife and I recently completed our wills with Devonalds. An extremely proffesional service provided and couldn't have been made any easier. Joel Evans walked us through step by step, and nothing was too much trouble for him. I would highly recommend.
