   I popped into Spitfire Barbecue in Bristol before a show, about a 10 minute walk away. It was a walk in and they had plenty of seating available. The location is lovely, right by the river, and the place has a lot of outdoor seating. I can easily imagine them hosting big food events. If they are not already, they definitely should be. Service was a bit meh, but to be fair, when you go for barbecue, it is really about the food and the food was very good. That said, it is nothing like what you would get in America. The style is the same, but for the price you pay here, you get so much more in the US. It is hard not to compare a barbecue spot anywhere to the US, since that is where this style of barbecue really became famous. The brisket was nice and very tender, the hot link was a bit dry, and the pork belly burnt ends were outstanding. I am not a small guy, and I left feeling I could have had more, though my wallet definitely would not allow it. I would return in a heartbeat. Apart from the quantity, this is probably some of the best barbecue you will get this side of the ocean.

   Fantastic food, delicious cocktails, and great service. Will definitely be back! I had the pork belly burnt ends & mac & cheese and it was stunning. Every bite was super tasty!

   We came here Saturday night, and we were served by Megan. What brilliant service it was. My wife and I both agreed it was the best service we have had for years; nothing was too much trouble, and there were smiles for days! I tried lots of different beers before committing to a pint, and this was no problem at all. Food came out and was out of this world tasty. We then had a dessert, and it was all 10/10 (I recommend the Crème brûlée). Overall, a fantastic restaurant for families and couples alike; all felt welcome.

   We stopped here as we were walking along the river and it looked a welcoming place to have lunch. We sat outside overlooking the river as the weather was glorious. We were served by Lillyanne (?) on a Tuesday afternoon. She was super friendly and helpful, we weren't rushed to choose food and we enjoyed a drink before we ordered. Food was amazing, lots of choice and detailed menu. We had the half rack of ribs and the burnt end pork bites which were amazing and served with pickles and onions. We also had fries, tater tots and pit beans. More then enough for a lunch for two and everything tasted great. We didnt have a pudding and we didnt go inside or use facilities so I cant comment on those. Would visit again if I went back to Bristol!

   This place was great, we went for my birthday meal. The food is so tasty, it's like being in little USA. Service is great, friendly staff and the food comes out quickly. You'll see in the picture that we ordered a modest amount of food along with a couple of drinks, steins are available! It's also dog friendly on terrace, perfect for the summer evenings. Our little dachshund was made to feel welcome with a water bowl coming out as soon as we sat down. We will definitely be returning when we're back in Bristol.

   Just like say WOW. Amazing service and outstanding food. This is a must to go if you haven't been to Spitfire Barbecue Bristol and if it's a nice day then if you can sit outside and you will love it. Food/Drinks/Service fantastic. Lovely Polish Lady I forgot her name but she's a credit to your company and was superb. Will definitely come back in future when next in Bristol.

   Its been years since I have been to Spitfire, and again not disappointed. Both the food and service were fantastic. Buffalo wings and onion strings to start with. For mains we had the St Louis Rib rack and half a boss back rib rack. Both of which were absolutely delicious, meat was tender and moist. Sides we had dirty fries and mac n cheese again, both were great. The wonderland beer was perfect with the meal and due to the different beers out server even offered a taste to help decide. Can't recommend this place enough, we will be heading back
