Hello to anyone who is reading this, Today I'm writing to share my dissatisfaction with my experience here today. I was outside today with 3 other friends. Just to remind you all 3 are girls and one of them is my cousin. I went with them because I was told to by our parents. Enough of that, we entered the store and we were in the makeup aisle. My cousin was looking around at the products , just so you know when she is shopping for these types of products she always puts the stuff in her pocket and then she goes to pay. I know this seems a bit weird but its just a habit she gained overtime. Bear in mind she's a 14 year old girl who was with her other friends who are also 14 including me. Anyways today someone noticed that she was putting stuff in her pocket, obviously he thought she was going to try steal but that was not our intention. A security guard also notices this, he approaches us and asks her to empty her pockets. Obviously she panicked because she had some products in her pocket and she did not want to make it seem like she was stealing. And to make matters worse, another customer comes out of no where saying that we were trying to steal, he did notice my cousin putting stuff in her pocket and the other 3 girls panicked while I tried to explain what happened. While this is happening the customer points out that I was "putting stuff in her pocket", no proof no nothing and it all got blamed on me in the end. Another thing that annoyed me a lot today was that the man started shouting at me when I clearly did nothing wrong and I was just trying to mind my own business. After that, another Security guard or worker approaches us and tried to fix the matter and remove us from the area. When we left the store my cousin broke down in tears because of the looks we got from bystanders because of how we got accused of stealing. By the way, we are Muslim, in our religion it is haram or sinful to steal. I do understand that if she was putting stuff in her pocket it would seem like stealing, however, I just think there could've been a better way to solve the matter instead of having a customer accusing and shouting at me because "I'm stealing". I am genuinely disgusted with the way this matter was handled as no one let me explain, they made my cousin cry, and the most disappointing part was they wouldn't even take me seriously or let me speak once. I find this so disrespectful and if your going to shout at a 14 year old boy at least hear the kid out before you run your mouth accusing us of stealing. If something like this was to happen again, I would want the matter settled in a more understandable way.

Saw a 3 young girls and a boy, the girls where going to buy makeup and just holding them, until a grown man starts screaming at them saying 'WHY ARE YOU STEALING' then the manager joins in, the manager and man were not taking the kids argument for real, very unprofessional staff would not go again, all the staff like to scream and act like they run the world.

This is a review for the smaller branch in St. David's, which I believe this is the Google page for. I will not go into the debacle that led me to the point of coming into this Boots branch and attempting to get a refund on a product, as that's a separate story. I brought an electric toothbrush and heads into this branch in order to return them. I had purchased these in a different, larger Boots, and had the receipt and all items to hand brand new in their packaging with me. I politely inquired about getting a refund as the items were no longer required. The store colleague ("Fran") said she would have to check with a manager as they do not sell these items. She went out the back and presumably spoke to the manager before returning to tell me, rather smugly, that I would have to go to the other branch for my refund. The reason given was that they do not sell electric toothbrushes in their branch. I'm sorry - what??? I (again, politely) explained that this was not my problem and that surely a Boots is a Boots and any store could accept my items for a refund. No, she told me looking very pleased with herself indeed, I would need to go elsewhere to get my money back. Well, thank you Fran, because I have a hidden disability that made it rather difficult for me to make my way to the other branch, but I did so. And they of course informed me that I should have been able to refund my products in any Boots branch I bloody well liked. Absolutely appalling service and utter laziness on the part of both the management team and the staff.

Disappointed that I needed an ID to buy nurofen, couldn’t get it even though they could see I clearly looked old enough, and by being denied this, I continue to have a headache, essentially being denied recovery. It’s stupid and I’m not happy, would have been nice to know this before I came here instead of literally as I was paying.

I popped in and a lovely member of staff called Samantha was very welcoming and kind in helping me choose the right fragrance for me. Sam was extremely knowledgeable about different types of perfumes and went out of her way to help. Great experience :)

One of your staff is so rude! Please teach them how to respond to simple questions such as “how are you?”.

I came into store today and I usually come to boots saint davids once a week. I have to say although your staff are fabulous, there was a member of staff today who went above and beyond for me! Julie K, you are an amazing asset to the store, you have the upmost best customer service skills and if there is any employee of the month I hope you get awarded for it! You helped me and I am very grateful.

Can be expensive in comparison with places like Superdrug and sometimes there are better options in Superdrug than in Boots, which I found recently when looking for wound dressings. Some shaver replacement parts are also difficult to find eg foil cutters and these ARE expensive compared with online suppliers, which I have been forced to use when Boots have no stock. Their special offers can be very good though especially in conjunction with Boots Reward card points and offers.
