   I was lucky to find Maya and Ivan. I didn’t realise my usual vet had stopped doing house calls for euthanasia. We’d reached the horrid decision that our beloved dog was too uncomfortable and needed to be put to sleep. I was most distressed to learn that we would have to transport her to the vets: she was too uncomfortable to travel and was very anxious going to the vets normally. It took two phone calls to find Maya and Ivan. They came to the house at the agreed time and after discussing our dog’s condition confirmed that euthanasia was appropriate and no further pain relief was available. Both Maya and Ivan were so respectful of our beloved hound. Their care and love for dogs was palpable. The procedure was explained excellently so we knew what to expect. There was no rush and no pressure. It is a difficult decision but to have Maya and Ivan show such care and such gentleness was lovely. Thank you both. We wish you every success and hope that when we’re ready for the next dog we can join your list of clients.
