I have been with Avonvale for years as have my family, they have always been helpful and caring with all our furry family members. Would definitely recommend them.
Imogen gave excellent reasonable advice and not too pushy to get further treatment as other vets.
I was really pleased with my visit with frank, I had a few questions to ask and Anita was really helpful and understanding, I felt very welcome and really surprised as she was not rushing, she spent alot of time with us which was lovely ❤️, didn't feel rushed by no means, which was so nice. The vet put my dog completely at ease. She gave her a thorough examination. My dog is quite elderly with a few joint issues. The options available to me were explained clearly.

Kind and knowledgeable about hamsters. As a person who did a lot of research before getting a hamster, can confirm that the vet knew about they were talking about and took a very kind approach with my little pet - prescribing meds when needed, not prescribing meds when they felt they didn't have enough evidence about a certain health issue. Very happy to have a good exotic vet near me. Prices have also been fair
All my three cats go here and we are happy with the level of care we receive here. Our cats' favourite vet is Anita, and Anita always looks after them really well. Three cats have their annual jabs here and also their prescriptions for flea and worm treatments. We have used out of hour services a few times (for instance, urinary tract infection, one jab plus one bottle of Metacam ended up costing north of £200). In terms of routine care, this is not an economical place either, but certainly one of the best in our neighbourhood. Look at how chilled these fur babies are!

I have had great experience with this veterinary centre, even before registering my pets there. They have always been helpful, professional and considerate. I like that there is a small team and things all run smoothly, with appointments on time. The pricing is very reasonable and the care appears to be top quality. My boy is in for an op next month and i have full confidence he'll be in the best hands. They have a poster up looking for used stamps to help vale wildlife, I'll add a picture.
