We stayed in Border Leicester hub it was lovely had more than what is said you will have. Went to the Royal Horseshoe pub in the village about a 15 min walk food was nice.
Wonderful weekend away at the Shepherds huts in Fairfarm Hideaway. Really high standard finish in the huts themselves, lots of little touches that make a big difference over the STAY, and absolutely stunning views Great hot tubs, which don't take that much managing once you know, we even used the BBQ. So quiet and peaceful, will return ❤️
Unbelievable place, if your a fan of middle earth this is as close as you will get to hobbiton in the UK.. We had the privilege of meeting the farmer who owns the land (monty) who took his time to say hello and ask us our opinion on his and his wife's work whilst checking in on the birth of a new cow in his field opposite... lovely bloke. The communication from the owners has been fantastic, everything thought of and catered for, this Hideaway won't disappoint... Post spartan race at belvoir castle it's been the most relaxing experience.. We will 100% be back again. Well done to the ownwers of the site for creating such a stunning, peaceful and magical place

A beautiful romantic weekend glamping. So much thought and detail has gone in to making the shepherds huts perfect, all you need for a relaxing time. Beautiful setting, peaceful except for sheep. We'd asked for the hot tub to be ready for our arrival. Great communication and information from the host. The tub & the BBQ was all we needed. Waltham on the Wolds is a lovely picturesque village too. Our new happy place, highly recommend x
The property provided everything you would need from toiletries, cutlery, cooking appliances etc. Everything was so well thought of, with not one thing being missing or us feeling as if we needed something more. There was tons of storage with there even being storage under the bed to put suitcases, bags etc. Will definitely be back soon and will definitely recommend to family and friends.
Beautiful cabin, beautiful surroundings. We spent NYE there, it was very warm with an automatic heater to heat the room when it dropped below the desire temp, the hot tub was hot!! In winter this was just perfect. The faculties exceptional with Netflix and a in door log burner, it was very peaceful with the perfect views, looking at booking again, I would highly recommend the hideaway, communication was first class, can’t thanks them enough for a perfect new year.
Excellent accommodation for any time away. No under 18s so always peaceful, only noise heard over the weekend was the ducks, definitely recommend it for the couple looking for some quiet time away. Amazing cosy hut with everything you would expect from a hotel room and amazing water pressure from all the faucets along with the heated electric shower was a home away from home
Where do I start? The second we pulled up we were greeted by a field of cows who were very inquisitive and so sweet who greeted us hello, we stayed in the Swaledale hut that was so beautifully made up and had everything you needed and more! The views were incredible and the sound of the ducks quacking as the sun set was so calming and peaceful, The wood burners made our stay feel so cosy and homey, the wood burning hot tub was all ready for us to get in and enjoy the views and sounds of the lake, ducks and birds! Gill was very helpful and made us feel right at home and made sure we had enough wood and everything we needed, her efforts to make each little hut perfect did not go unnoticed. The small touches inside and out were perfect! I would definitely recommend for you to go here and stay. I will definitely be coming back! So see you soon Fairfarm Hideaway❤️
If you’re debating whether to book this for a getaway, absolutely do it. Could not find the words to thank Gil for taking the time to explain everything before we arrived and for an amazing set up of the hut which was completely stunning. We had the hot tub pre lit before we arrived and check in was smooth. Easy to find with lots of directions given. Location is perfect you’ve got a Tesco superstore which is only a 10 minute drive away. The hut itself was super clean and clearly Gil has thought about everything to make the stay a lot easier. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be happily coming back.
