   Our office was booked in for an all day meeting and we used the Buckland Suite. Lovely airy room. Good location just inside main door on the right near Reception. Lovely hotel and surroundings. Lovely clean ladies toilets with great facilities and sofas to sit and rest on. Great selection of teas. Fabulous buffet lunch. Very friendly staff. Parking on site. Bus stops nearby and close to Galleria Shopping Centre and Parkway shops and restaurants.

   Lovely hotel, lovely dinner and breakfast. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was that the TV wasn't a smart one so we couldn't connect our phones and there were no plugs near our bed, especially in this day and age. But none the less our executive room was very cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable. I absolutely adored the mirror and table so it was easy for me to do my make up and with the added help of the lamp on the desk. The wardrobe was a good size for us to hold our stuff and we were given robes but unfortunately the iron didn't work in the room but we were given one from reception. Also lovely staff at breakfast and dinner.

   We took my 92 year old mother-in-law for afternoon tea at Beales. The hotel is modern and welcoming. The staff in the restaurant are attentive. The afternoon tea was lovely and there was plenty to eat for the 3 of us. We could not finish it all, so they put it in a take home box and gave us 3 little pots of jam for our scones we brought home. I would recommend the afternoon tea here and I would return to Beales.

   I was very impressed. The room was well appointed and had good facilities. The art work on the walls is interesting if not actually my personal taste. The restaurant served excellent mains and puddings. We were the only people eating on a very quiet Friday night, which was a shame because it was so well cooked.

   A conference room was hired for a personal reception. Staff at the hotel are polite and helpful. The food prepared was fresh and very nice. The disabled toilet was clean and easily accessible. Disabled parking is available but limited. Unfortunately it is not the most attractive building although the interior was smartly furnished and modern.

   I went to a party here in June and I have to say that the food was lovely but the bar staff didn't know what they were doing at all. It wasn't even really that busy. Even the manager was having a dispute with a member of the public and really needs some customer service skills. There was no clocking who was next in line to serve (which could cause arguments in itself) the manager that was on this night got my drink wrong 3 times. Very poor and I wouldn't book this place on first impressions of the bar staff. Very poor!
