The wedding dress fitting at Ashwell & Co was a really fun experience. I tried on a range of dresses and the space was really nice. I felt very supported and got some good ideas how to style the different dresses.

We went to the wreath making workshop with Christmas afternoon tea. It was a fantastic afternoon. The wreath making was easy to follow and very enjoyable. The afternoon tea was amazing with gluten free and vegan options. Delicious sandwiches with lovely soft bread. Amazing scones and cakes. All handmade. Highly recommend.

The afternoon tea was amazing. Could not praise enough. The host was extremely attentive. We were very impressed that he made nearly all of the food himself, which was delightful from the sandwiches and delicious cakes. It was a truly scrumptious afternoon tea. We can't wait to go back. We highly recommend this hidden gem in Clifton. A very unique experience, had by me and my friends.

I had the most lovely afternoon tea (the special Valentine’s weekend edition) at Ashwell & Co! The space is a perfect mix of vintage eclectic and tea room, great music for ambiance, and the food was lovely! I go to many afternoon teas (it’s a bit of an obsession) so I have pretty high expectations at this point. I liked, since they only serve vegetarian sandwiches, that you get a lighter change of pace from traditional tea sandwiches, but the sweets are really the stars. The scone was so lovely, one of the better I’ve had in a while, homemade clotted cream and delicious moist cakes. To top it all off the price is incredibly reasonable for the food and service experience! Excited to come back in the future.

Went here for afternoon tea today, a surprise for my birthday from a friend ❤️ The afternoon tea was incredible, no small nibbles - it was full size portions which meant we got to take some home to enjoy later, they we’re so beautifully welcoming, friendly and really made the afternoon so wonderful. It’s such a gorgeous setting and so noticeably different from a ‘normal’ afternoon tea. I had the vegan option and it did not disappoint the scone was by far my favourite and they even gave me some extra to take home with me. I will definitely be returning ❤️

I visited Ashwell and Co for a bridal appointment. Kate was so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. She had pulled some amazing dresses for me to try on and amazingly was able to assertain what I was looking for from a brief questionnaire. I was anxious about the experience prior to going along, but was immediately made to feel so at ease and in incredibly safe hands. I went on to purchase the first dress I tried on and it was all thanks to Kate's knowledge, skills and vision for how the dress could look. Also the whole thing was just really good fun and Kate is brilliant company. If you're looking for something slightly different from a wedding dress (or even if you're not!) I can't recommend Ashwell and Co highly enough.

We went for a hen do on Sunday and it was by far the best afternoon tea I have been too in a long while! The cakes were beyond amazing and we loved the vegan options. The host was so informative and had such passions for his business. We also came away with some items from the shop! If you are ever in Bristol, I recommend going here for afternoon tea! We will come back! Thank you so much for making our hen party a very happy and fun experience. We left with our bellies full!

We were large group having the classic afternoon tea here. The owner introduced himself, explained everything was freshly made in house and what was on the menu. They have an extensive tea menu with cordials available too. The afternoon tea itself was a very generous portion of sandwiches, cakes and a scone. The sandwich fillings were classic with exciting twists and really flavoursome. The cakes were beautiful, tasty and a really good selection. The smell of freshly baked scones wafting through was lovely. The generous portions meant that most of the group was taking something home too. The setting was really beautiful, from the table dressing to the table wear and being surrounded by vintage wedding dresses and clothes. It was such a lovely experience, everyone in our group enjoyed it and we would love to visit again.

Phenomenal afternoon tea. An unusual location for an afternoon tea but it was an absolute treat. The highlights were homemade whipped cream and egg (homemade) mayo and truffle sandwich. The best afternoon tea in Bristol
