I had the pleasure of staying here on the 4th-5th and honestly I’m extremely impressed. I had an early flight so I could have gotten an uber from home but I saw rooms here were from £25-£30. When I arrived the staff were really friendly - the restaurant was busy yet the service was amazing. Staff made sure to check up on me asking if the food was okay or if I needed anything else (condiments). The room I stayed in was so comfortable, had an amazing bed and the tv was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you have an early flight or need time to yourself (since flying can be very overwhelming)

You get what you pay for, nothing more. The room windows cannot be opened, meaning you may have to deal with chemical smells in the bathroom, which vary in strength depending on the room. The bathroom is small, with infamous shower and its curtain. Towels and pillows are provided, along with a kettle and basic tea and coffee. That’s about it. There are no glass in the bathroom, no tissues, no toilet brush, no fridge, and not even a complimentary bottle of water. There’s also no accessible microwave in the hotel. The £12 breakfast isn’t great. If you’re lucky enough and the buffet looks full when you arrive, don’t expect any fresh food to be brought out. Some staff members can be lovely, some can be quite weird or nearly rude. I’m not here to name and shame. Would I repeat the experience? Probably not.

ravelodge Gatwick Airport Central is a budget-friendly hotel located near Gatwick Airport, offering easy access to the airport terminals, making it a convenient choice for travelers flying in and out of the area. It’s typically a 10-15 minute walk from the North Terminal, or you can catch a shuttle bus. The hotel offers standard amenities, including free Wi-Fi, comfortable rooms, and on-site dining options like a restaurant or bar. If you're catching an early flight or arriving late, it's a convenient spot to relax before or after your travels. Are you planning to stay there or just curious about it? look very good

Room was clean and tidy. Only slight negatives were being on ground floor (Room 35) was under another wing of the hotel meant very little or no mobile signal. There was also a noisy air conditioning unit outside the room window. Stayed here before on the ground floor and not had those issues so must be specific to that room. Good location and parking for the airport. Staff were friendly and good.

We stayed at Travelodge Gatwick and it was an ideal choice for an airport overnight. The location is perfect for the terminal, the price was amazing, and the place was very clean throughout. We had a SuperRoom which was a really nice size and having a fridge was a big bonus. The staff were friendly, and despite being so close to the airport we could hardly hear any planes. The air con worked well too, which mattered because you cannot open the windows due to the airport. We ate in the restaurant and the food was a good price and good enough quality, which was exactly what we wanted before travelling. A couple of things did let it down slightly. They moved the room we had prebooked, and it caused confusion at check-in because they did not seem to know about it. That also meant we missed out on what would have been a quieter room with a better outlook. Soundproofing between rooms was not great either, and we could hear screaming for most of the evening from another room, which was a bit concerning. Also worth noting that parking is extra, and it was £10.50. Overall though, for the price and convenience, we would definitely stay again.

Quick to book in and get your room key.The room we had was small but considering we was there for one night it was OK, also stopping in December and snowing outside the room was cold we did have an electric heater which eventually did warm the room up. Their is a man called Sam who works there really helpful and very pleasant we meeting all our needs.I stopped here in August the room was excellent also on this stay I had ordered some food at the restaurant we ended waiting an hour and a half and noticed others around us too. Tension was forming and Sam was quick to take action and was in and out of the kitchen area found out what the problem was and to get the right food to the right people. Many thanks to him in his service

Amazing experience from check in to check out, the receptionist who checked me in was brilliant, gave me the best room on the 4th floor and didn't mind that I was 30 early before 3pm check in time. Explained the bar, food and breakfast opening times and was more than helpful..The room was spacious, clean and had all I needed for several cups of tea and coffee. If you don't fancy a meal there is a Co op nearby which is a 10 min walk. Had a great night's sleep and woke refreshed and the shower was just amazing, thank you Caterina for making up the room and thank you yo the receptionist who welcomed me with a huge smile.

Stay here regularly and it's always friendly and welcoming. Food service at breakfast could be better with options empty or missing and coffee machine rarely working properly. Rooms are comfortable and clean. It's good value normally given its location to Gatwick, bus stops at the hotel for the airport.

Firstly from check in to leaving the staff were brilliant. I arrived in the evening by shuttle bus, and staff reacted quickly to the influx of passengers - Were really friendly and informative. At breakfast, Molly was a brilliant host, full of energy and friendly to every guest that she interacted with, even if it was 6am! The room, I was very happy with the room, modern and in good repair. Unfortunately thing that let this hotel down for me was the cleanliness of the bathroom. On the floor of the bathroom there was long hairs and a bobby pin, the bath tub also had several long hairs. The drain in the bath was also extremely slow to drain, beyond what anyone would consider normal. The latter perhaps influencing the former. Overall, would I stay here again, yes. I'd like to think the bathroom was an isolated incident as the rest of the room was clean. -The shuttle bus runs from both terminals 24hrs a day, usually at either a 20 minute or 40 minute schedule (it's called Gatwick Hoppa). Staff at hotel have leaflets, and the bus for me ran punctually. An adult ticket return was £7.

Good basic hotel room. The restaurant was quick to get food out and reasonably priced. Reception was manned even at 2.30am when we checked out. It was a good basic stay over all. Shuttle bus was a faff to find but that's a failing of the airport rather than the hotel. There is literally 1 sign for the bus stop and its really easy to miss!
