   Great Leisure Centre. Widely used by the community and the free public swimming sessions are a big hit with children, my granddaughter being one. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

   This review is based purely on the newly refurbished gym. I have been a member here for over the thirty years and the staff are generally very pleasant snd good at their jobs. I have used the gym several times a week for over thirty years and was excited when they said that she gym was being refurbished. The old equipment was decent enough but needed updating. I don't know if the person who designed the new gym actually uses the gym as the new equipment, for the most part is awful, and is far worse than the tired equipment it replaced. I would go so far as to say the the new equipment is not fit for purchase and in some cases is dangerous particularly elliptical trainers and the bikes are of very poor quality. The leg press machine is also rubbish. If you are going to invest money at least listen to people who use a gym. I think a huge opportunity has been missed here as a better gym would attract more clients. The staff and members deserve better!

   Went for my first swim today since lock down my experience was amazing Steve and the receptionist were very helpful. The system in place to me was excellent, spotless and the pool temperature was great loved it, can not wait for my next visit. Well done Heolddu 10/10
