Quick cheap shop.many many varied goods at rock bottom prices,always busy, there could be a short wait at checkout .large wide doorway all on one level
Absolutely love poundland especially having Pep and Co clothing instore . Picked up some cracking " bargains" Poundland staff excellent Very polite and very helpful indeed.
The store is ok. Good stuff to buy with just a pound. But I think the staff need more training. No smiles. No welcome. They just walk past you with frowns on their faces as if they have been asked to leave their job.
Poundland have had some great items in this summer. This particular store is the smallest of our three pound shops in our city but I often find things in here that the larger stores don't have. I've found that they some nut mixes and dried fruit shots that I don't usually find in the other store in town. They also sell to have a really good selection of refrigerated items in this branch. This particular store used to be the 99p shop until it was bought out a few years ago.
I have visited here a few times to buy some things cheaply on my student budget. During most visits I have been able to find exactly what I wanted. There is always a member of staff available If you need help to find something. But as you'd expect for a shop which sells such a wide range of products, the staff are not able to give advice.
