Jodie and Jordan have been amazing, my dog was pregnant with her first litter and me and my partner didn’t have a clue what to do. These two helped with everything and was so kind and friendly and even enjoyed seeing the pics of the puppies. They went above and beyond and I’m very grateful for all there help
I went to Pets at Home to buy some fish, and the experience was very disappointing. The shop was practically empty, with three staff members standing at the till chatting. I asked one of them for assistance, and was told "someone will be with you in a second." Instead of helping straight away, we were left waiting in front of the tanks for around five minutes while the three continued their conversation. Eventually, Livia came over to help us. To be fair, she was very kind and polite once she did, but the fact that we were made to wait in an empty shop while staff prioritized their chat over customers is just unacceptable. It felt like we were being ignored until they were ready, which is not the service you expect.
I visited this store to pick up an online order and get a few bits for my new puppy. The store is large with a large range of products. The store is well laid out, with everything having its own section, so it is easier to find what it is you are looking for. We seemed to turn up when it was busy with deliveries, (there were only 2 other customers around at the time) as we tried to stop 2 different members of staff and they were all busy going off to do other things and didn't have the time to stop and help us ask questions. We eventually managed to get someone to help us after half an hour of being in the store. This guy was very helpful and he spent the time talking to us about which dog food would be best. He was very knowledgeable and spent the time making sure we were happy and well informed. * store is clean tidy and well stocked * large parking area outside * knowledgeable staff member * large store which is bright * easy access around the store for wheelchairs and pushchairs * dogs welcome inside * no vet or groom room at this store. * click and collect available here
It's a good place, large and dog friendly. Only reason I gave 3 was there wasn't much of a choice for what I was looking for in particular and only one staff member on tills, so a bit slow. Overall though, would recommend.
Friendly and helpful staff. Store is always clean. If you can't get what you need they can order it in for you.
Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. We are new pup parents so there advise was supper helpful and the pet club is great
It's handy, it has a little bit of everything from popular big brands to small natural ones in terms of food.
It's a chain so there's nothing different about this one, so no surprise but clean nice staff and a good range
It's a pets at home what can I say really. The staff are helpful And some very knowledgeable. Shop is stocked well and had everything I needed.
