Had a poor experience at this groom room after not being able to get in with my normal one. I paid £55 for a scissor cut of my small sprocker which took no longer than 45 minutes. The cut is awful, completely uneven, some parts not even trimmed, claws not clipped and feathers were not removed (as requested) I’m massively disappointed and will be writing to request a refund as I’m going to have to try and find another groomers to tidy my poor dog up.

I left the grooming with my mouth open.... Unbelievable unpleasant experience. The most unexperienced and unprofessional staff ever had do deal with.

Just had an incribly traumatic experience with my dog in the groomers. I have an elderly dog who I previously took to a different walk in vets for pets grooming to have his nails clipped and it was excellent (first and only time hes ever needed them trimming). I went into Filton today as its closer to home and from the start it was awful. I arrived at 5:35 and they had an awful attitude the young lady on the till looking at my like I was dirt on the bottom of her shoe. They said they'd only have time for a nail clip ans they close at 6 and made it very clear from their attitude they wanted me gone as quick as possible so they could go. The girl who came to do the dogs nails came to the reception bit where I was stood with the dog. I was expecting her to take him back behind the counter but instead she very quickly started clipping the dogs nails with me there which caused him distress and I had to pin him so she could do the nail trim which she only manged one side as the dog was in so much distress. This felt super inappropriate and not how it should be done. Last time he was taken away from me to do the mini pamper which included nail trim. I asked how he was as that was his first time and they said 'he was really good and did you proud' he wasn't distressed leaving that time. This time felt rushed and doing it with me there made the situation worse. I paid and left to get some bits from the shop and by the time I paid before 6 they had shut the grooming parlor and gone. This was an awful experience for me and the dog and I'm not sure he will trust having his nails clipped again. The two staff working there didn't seem to care at all or have must interest. I will never use this service at filton again nor advise anyone I know to.

My wife has been taking our dog to this groomers for 2 years without any issues until today. I have come home to find my dog has a huge patch missing where the guard 'fell off'. They have butchered her tail and she looks a mess. My wife arrived to hear the groomer shouting at our placid dog for not staying still for a photo and her demeanor completely changed when the groomer realised my wife was behind her. The groom was done by a trainee but we weren't told this until after the groom had taken place. Absolutely awful customer service. We will be taking our dog elsewhere from now on.

Just had a ridiculous conversation with a member of staff at pets at home filton (not the groom room). Entered the shop to buy 2 rabbits, enquired about the 2 together and was told they had already been sold, fair enough, asked about the rabbit that had been left on its OWN and was told I can't have just 1 rabbit on its own, I asked if I could buy this 1 as it is just stuck in the shop on its own, but would be loved and looked after by my children at home and come back for another when they have more, I was told no they can't be on their OWN. My son, understandingly disappointed said, "can I have the 2 guinea pigs instead, I love them too", only for the member of staff to say to an 8 year old child, "no not now, it seems a bit spontaneous, you came in for a rabbit". He's an 8 year old kid, doesn't matter what he leaves that shop with, he would love it, when he went in there he wanted either a rabbit or guinea pig, but saw the rabbits first. What an A-hole.

I took my dog Nala there as we found out that her usual groomer has lived over to the Filton store. Nala was happy to see her groomer Emily again. As always Emily does an excellent job with Nala and I couldn’t be happier that she took the time to call me to let me know that she was moving over to the store in Filton. There’s not enough words to describe how amazing she is with Nala and what a great job she does every single time.

There grooms are expensive and not as good quality as other groomers I've taken my dog to. Last appointment I booked they cancelled at 4:55 the day before. This was an appointment I'd had for over two weeks and was due to go on holiday 2 days after and couldn't find a place that could fit my dog in before I went away.

Took my yorkie poo for his first cut at the groom room. Phoned in advance to confirm time and price, was advised it would be £40 and a 2 hour appointment. When I dropped my puppy off they told me they didn't have enough time to cut him which I wasn't happy about. When my partner collected him they changed the story and told him that he was never booked in for a cut. My dog came out very scared after his visit and we will never return to the store.
