   I called in to ask for advice as my much loved 8 year old goldfish had an eye popping out. The staff member was extremely understanding and went above and beyond to advise me in detail. I bought some products on their advice and followed their guidance, and their suggestions worked perfectly. Problem solved and I'm extremely grateful. Excellent shop and service. Highly recommended.

   Pete, Nina and the team have always been incredibly helpful and been happy to order things in if they don’t already stock it. Just had our two guinea pigs stay for a little holiday there whilst we went away and they kept us updated with how they were doing, helped remove a little bit of hay from one of the guinea’s eyes and clearly looked after them well because they seemed happy as can be whilst there! A local gem we cannot lose, many thanks to the team!

   I visit Paws in Monmouth all the time,it's got a fabulous range of products, and they're so happy to order in for me if there's anything I can't find. The support and help I've received as I recently became a bunny mum has been so incredible, Pete and Nina, and all of the staff are so knowledgeable and caring, and have even continued to support and offer advice since my little buns been home!    I bought my beagle in for a groom today and couldn’t be happier. He’s not the easiest and the girls managed him really well. Professional and friendly service. And REALLY reasonable price, very affordable compared to where we have taken him before. There is also a great selection of products for all animals which is really comparatively priced. Can’t recommend them enough!

   The Shop is run by really friendly people, I have shopped here for years and have bought rabbits and fish from Paws and I am really happy with how I have been treated. The Main Owner is really friendly and I have observed her as being really helpful to other customers and their pets that come into her shop. Reading the previous negatives reviews I cannot believe these people are talking about the same shop. I know a lot of hard work goes into the shop and that the customer service is normally at a high standard. Not many shops go out of there way to find items that the customers are looking for. Being a small family run shop when there is something specific I need they look through all there suppliers to find what I want. If I was to goto a big chain shop they only have on the shelf what head office tells them to stock.
