   First visit and my dog could not have received a more thorough examination. He had previous known issues, but the vet was totally honest with me as to further treatment, including ways to actually save money . They will certainly be my permanent vet from now on.

   I had two dogs on a pet plan, 1 who I know for a fact that hasn’t been in to see them and I wanted to add two more dogs but they wanted to charge me for a health check for both of them when they’ve both been seen by another vet else where that was cheeper! I sell flea and wormer at work and I don’t health check each dog that I give medication to, I under the policy but why is it only in place for my new dogs?

   Sadly my first (and only) experience was not good. Had high expectations after reading other reviews but was v disappointed. Very small and hot waiting room, no water for hot puppy and could hear consults in both rooms. Certainly not what you want if you are given bad news or having your pet pts. Was also charged £49 for very brief "Puppy Health Check" which seemed extortionate bearing in mind there was no diagnosis of any illness necessary as made clear he had no problems. All other vets locally offer new pup health checks for free. Quick look in mouth, ears and temperature taken. Very hard sell to start another course of vaccines which was declined. He is a rescue from abroad so vaccinations etc. have to be absolutely right or they are not permitted to enter UK. Made it clear that I was not happy and requested refund but heard nothing ........

   Outstanding service. I will admit admit I was ready to advertise for a vet in the South West, that had the welfare of the animals they worked with at heart. Someone passionate about their career! and a practice that was not out to rip you off. Yatton Vets came highly recommended by close colleagues and I checked them out...and I am so glad I did.... 1...Continuity of a vet....speaks volumes!! Not 10 plus vets all contradicting each other and charging you accordingly!! 2...Listening to what you have to say....after all you know your pet better than anyone else... 3....A fair price offered and not an over inflated price from larger vet practices! 4....Receptionist remembered me on my 2nd visit....I liked that a lot! whereas most large practices have no idea who you are after many visits. Atmosphere.....Friendly, helpful, polite, Very realistic prices,. Recommending to my friends and customers, I personally rate Sean and his team highly.
