This is a truly lovely house, spacious, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and with everything you could possibly need for a self catering break. Would certainly return given the opportunity.
What a great find close to Cheddar! Loved our brief stay, such a lovely home with some nice touches like a patio and rain shower. Beds were comfortable and we slept very well, only thing is there are patio doors and no windows so it can get a bit hot in the room (as you want these closed overnight). The breakfast was fab, plenty of choice and good quality. If you want to walk into Cheddar ask the owners for a special map which avoids the main road, note if you come back late you can’t walk through the industrial estate as the gate closes (there are 2 routes to choose from). Great stay and I would choose again if I was in the area.
After a long drive from Gatwick, we were given a very warm welcome from Rachael and directed to the local pub for a great dinner. Next morning breakfast was very good and after s stroll around what is a working farm we departed. Next day got SMS to say left an item of clothing which she then posted to our Australian address. Accommodation is in modern purpose built wing and the rural setting (but only a few minutes from Cheddar village) ensure a tranquil stay
Cosy and upscale. Wonderful property & great rooms. Aim for a room with a bathtub. The owners were very friendly and helpful, drove is to Cheddar and back. The road between Cheddar and Nyland Manor is quite dangerous, I don't recommend walking there. The property itself is safe and offers great walks. Excellent breakfast.
Stunning Wedding Venue with a superb team ! The grounds and Manor are just so beautiful. The venue offers so much for a dreamy wedding, the outdoor space is incredible with flowing meadow grass and lakes. I would love to cover another wedding here as the photographer - I can be found on Google - 'Wedding Photographer Yeovil'.
