I spoke to a young girl called Abygail, and she was a FANTASTIC help. She had very very kind customer service and was a great help to me and my wife the other day. She is an absolute βοΈ, managers definitely give her a promotion!

Adam is a fantastic instructor! My three-year-old was hesitant to swim at first, but now he looks forward to class every week. Adam is wonderful with children and clearly cares about helping them develop a real love for swimming, which I think is the most important part.

The place isn't well maintained, for example there is a door which doesn't close properly at the women's showers and the cold air comes in, a year now.. How none noticed? The new hairdryers are totally discrace.. A joke, you have to spend at least 2 hairs trying to dry your hair. The coaches are constantly changing and there is no continuity to the lessons, there is no progress really. It is a waste of time!! When a coach is absent they meant to cover or let us know that the lesson cancelled. They also failed multiple time to communicate and they meant to offer discount but they don't. I asked 3 times help from the receptionist to have my money back, but nothing happened. The only reason we keep going is that is the only place with decent price in the area, and my child loves swimming, but even a child can realise that there is no progress and is stuck to the same level. The place needs a good manager, they all seem very comfortable there, even when we had a very bad episode with coach Rita, she said to us" I am 8 years here, what are you gonna do? " for me and the other parents involved, that says a lot for the management.

Had a really poor experience at Acton recently - we signed up to swimming lessons online for my 5 year old. She is a reasonably competent swimmer for her age and loved the water - we were advised by her previous instructor that sheβd be fine with level 2 lessons. The online sign up at Acton also suggested level 2 lessons for us. Unfortunately these lessons were a disaster, there were too many kids packed into half a width learning pool and the instructor made them all swim together so my daughter had other children swimming over her and into her, causing her to sink and swallow water. She was in tears throughout her lessons. She has lost so much confidence having previously loved swimming she is now dreading it. So weβve decided not to continue at Acton and find something quieter for her. Acton have point blank refused to refund any money - I have effect paid Β£109 for 2 lessons. I explained why we are not happy and they are so unhelpful. All about the money sadly. Just be sure your child is a confident swimmer and doesnβt mind a chaotic environment before you commit here as itβs not for the faint hearted!

The swimming pool and changing room area could be maintained a bit better, but I can overlook this as the coaches here make up for it. VICKY is very professional, patient and inspiring with the children. She gives each child guidance and encouragement with a big smile each time, and the progress my children have made is remarkable. She is always so kind and helpful and we are very thankful for her

We've had ups and downs with Acton Centre, with our kids attending weekly swimming lessons. In the six months after COVID lockdowns it was really unreliable with lessons cancelled with no notice, but they have massively improved since then. The instructors are really good, friendly, patient, and communicative with the children and importantly, pro-active in moving children up through the stages when they're ready, so I feel like my kids are making good progress. The pool is generally clean and the receptionists are really helpful and friendly (where previously they seemed a bit aloof) I definitely recommend the place for children's swimming lessons.

Small male and female changing rooms. 4 group changing rooms and only 2 family cubicles. Group showed = only 3. (1of which is broken) Location is good and bus stops right out side. If not a member getting booking can be challenging as they have very limited spaces for swimming due to a limited amount of life guards they have. Venue is clean.

Needs a bit of maintenance like more hairdryers and improved showers but overall completely adequate. Good pool temperature, warm changing rooms. Not at all dirty and crowded on a weekday afternoon, however a completely different picture in the evening. Eight people in one fast lane with absolutely no management when some should clearly be in other lanes.

The swimming pool could have good potential but otherwise it is exasperating to receive such poor treatment to the customers after paying a lot for four classes of 30 minutes a month. Everything is incredibly dirty and stinky. The staff in reception is rude and unfriendly, they need to find educated and kind people for that job. The lifeguards are not doing their job. Unfortunately worst pool I have ever seen, needs a manager change asap
