The worst quality Chinese food I have ever had. Went for a birthday meal and the Christmas set menu was awful. Small food portions- 3 mini spring rolls as stater. Crab starter was swimming in a bowl of curry. The dessert was one tiny small circle mini cheesecake ate it in one bite it was that small. We left hungry. The atmosphere was awful couldn’t hear each other across the table. Extra supplement charge for chips! No point in a set menu if everything is supplement charged. And an automatic 10% service charge put on the bill. Really bad bad quality of food. It was shocking. Bill was over £100 for 2 people and I was drinking water. Photo is the steak (£3 supplement charge) which had the texture of a pork chop. I would not recommend.

The food was really nice, I really liked the pork & prawn dim sum and the HoZ signature cocktail.

Food was good and great selection. On our visit we choose to order from the 3 course set menu. There was plenty to choose from and the portion sizes were about just right. Staff was friendly and the service was good. Once food was ordered we had a decent waiting time between courses and we didn't feel rushed. My only grumble was my drink,I ordered the house larger which was nice and crisp and clean but you only get 2/3 of a pint for £7 which is mad,for that price it should have been a full pint. Other than this we will definitely visit again in the future.

Chicken satay was the best by far, the dressing is amazing and it’s delicious. Dumplings were just right but nothing special. Pi-pa duck was really plain, it had a small dressing on the side to give more taste to it but still nothing that would impress. The noodles on the other side, had more textures and flavors in the dish. The local is well decorated but I felt like tables were too close together and left not enough space to have intimacy, you can heard all the conversations from the tables that are next to yours.

Absolutely amazing food and impressive service which is well worth the price. We were consistently checked on by the staff even though it was packed that night, the chicken in black bean sauce was also one of the best I have tasted before. Will definitely be coming back

We went for a family lunch to celebrate a big birthday. The staff were super helpful, friendly and patient with our excited 2year old. The food was delicious! Can't wait to go back and try more.

I love this place but the service was a bit of a let down in the lead up to Christmas. Three reminders before a drink arrived - lost business as more sales could have been made. House special beef with wasabi pepper sauce was ok but not great. Starter of chicken sesame toast was superb. Mix up with the rice and 3 portions of egg fried rice arrive instead of boiled. Had to wait ages on a portion of noodles to arrive by which time everyone else’s food was getting cold. The garlic prawns were swimming in oil and small lumps of garlic and not marinated in it. The strawberry rib starter was odd as it was merely a slice of strawberry lying in the bowl. Single female, male and disabled toilets which were ok. Seating areas and styling is lovely in this restaurant- very intimate but they do squash you into the seating booths too much. Definitely a let down on the last visit so not in a rush to head back when there’s so many great places to visit.

Classy place for Chinese style cuisine but there is certainly room for further improvement with some of their food. Portions tend to be small and most of the main dishes are too salty in taste. Xiao lung dumplings lack the juicy fillings inside and tasted like ordinary steamed dumplings. The roast duck has a nice crispy skin but the meat is a bit too dry. Maybe we didn’t order the right dishes but at this price we certainly expected a better performance. As there are better options around we probably won't be visiting again in a while.

One of the best Beef Currys I've had. Definitely needs a cold drink. Clean quality dining in a comfortable, but busy atmosphere. Book in advance to avoid disappointment. Food served quickly and warm. Staff very attentive.
