   We rented all the properties on the site for a large group of wedding guests (wedding was held at Naas Court) - lodge barn, deer park farmhouse, two shepherds huts (Betty and Bertha) and quarry lodge. We also rented the old pump house which is a short drive away but all properties are owned by the Lydney Park Estate. We had a fabulous time and found all of the properties to be totally perfect for a very large group of multiple generations. The setting is beautiful and tranquil. The properties were clean and well equipped and the farmhouse and lodges are particularly nice as they have clearly recently been renovated. The hot tubs were fab and easy to use and we were glad of the enclosed garden for the dogs. We were made to feel very welcome with a bottle of Prosecco to kick off the celebrations. Would highly recommend.

   Large enough to accommodate our party of fourteen. Lovely kitchen dining room. The table is huge. Each room is en suite. Such a bonus! Short drive to pub and shops.Good access to Gloucester.

   Lovely scenery and lovely big lodge however could do with some updating, not every room has a wardrobe to hang your clothes, the furniture in the bedrooms and around the lodge are tired and dated, outside wooden chairs are very unstable and need replacing before someone ends up on the floor! The furniture in the kitchen does not resemble the pictures, the chairs are far too low and look nothing like the pictures, cleanliness especially the bathrooms is something to be desired, electrics in the wall to the ensuite downstairs buzz constantly and could do with a check as does all equipment with years out of date Pac testing, the hot tub for this property is tiny and can fit a max of 3 people which was also disappointing and no chlorine in on arrival, cleanliness is a must especially with covid and please would somebody clean the windows that haven't been cleaned in months, spoils the scenery every time you look out.

   A fantastic place, nice peaceful surroundings, the beds and bedding are luxurious, the building is well equipped and spacious. We were a large group and it didn't feel like we were on top of eachother. I really enjoyed our time there.
