To be honest I found the food a little bland. I expect more from Thai (zingy lemon, spicy chilli, crunchy vegetables), also the meat wasn't great (dry duck or seemingly processed chicken). Service and atmosphere good enough.

Haven't been to Lichfield for ages, spotted this place on the way from the carpark. They were advertising a lunch menu at a good price, me and my wife had a walk around and went back at lunchtime. So pleased we did, the food and the service were both excellent!
What a lovely place! The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are so kind, friendly, and welcoming ☺️ They have made an effort to speak with me each time I have come, making me feel like they really care about providing a great experience every time. My favorite dishes so far are the Red Curry (I had it with duck which was superb), the Stir fried Sweet & Sour Chicken, the Chicken Satay, and the Banana Fritters with Ice Cream was wonderful, too! The interior is very pretty and well designed. I love the art work they have on the wall, it feels quite reserved and traditional and creates a very cozy atmosphere. I also like that they play traditional music, but at a very nice volume so it’s not distracting. Finally, I think the pricing is very reasonable. The 3-course, 2-course, and 1-course lunch deals are especially good! I can’t wait to come back many times and try more items on the menu!
Took my wife out to dinner here. The staff were polite and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The food was well prepared, beautifully presented, it we both enjoyed the meal. Overall, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere meant we could enjoy each others company and the food. I highly recommend the Thai Rainbow.
Food is hands down the best thai food around. Been so many times and it never falters.
Excellent asked for chicken red curry not beef but it was soon sorted no problem very apologetic friendly clean nice place food was spot on

Popped in here for a quick lunch, 1st time here & we wasn't disappointed, friendly staff & superb freshly cooked food, highly recommended, great value aswell using their lunch menu options, 5* will definitely be returning
Lichfield, Bird Street and Thai Rainbow have been together for as long as I can remember. It is only today I chose to step inside and see why it has stood the test of time. It does what many good restaurants capture, a taste of its culinary origin. The large dining area is studded with beautiful Thai wood carvings, paintings and statues. The lunch time offers are excellent value for money. There are 1, 2 and 3 course options. Food is prepared to a high standard and arrives at the in a timely fashion. Service is accurate and humble.
