This is the first time I have ever posted a review on a meal. Myself and my wife got the pensioners Christmas dinner. Presentation was like a school dinner. One small sprout, one slither of a broccoli floret, half a small roasted potatoe, bland turkey/ham and weak stuffing. Some mashed potato and an assortment of roasted carrots etc. The dessert was also badly presented with two small scoops of ice cream and a small flake. It did what it said on the menu but one expected a bit of thought at Christmas. Not cheap at Β£22. I have eaten around Ireland and travel a lot so I am comparing this with a wealth of experience. I'm surprised the people of N' Ards accept this standard of food. Needless to say we won't be back and we won't be recommending this to anyone. I was disappointed but can't believe whoever thought this was a well presented Christmas dinner exists.

My 89-year-old grandfather asked for the pensionerβs menu at 6:04pm, but was refused as it stops at 6. We were then left to order from the regular menu, and the experience was very disappointing. The scampi portion was extremely small β hardly enough to call it a meal. The chips were rationed, barely amounting to a single potato per person. The chicken burger wasnβt even breaded or fried; it was literally just plain cooked chicken, served with a leaf of lettuce and a few tomato slices. For the price, the quality, portion sizes, and slow service were unacceptable. The whole experience felt careless and unwelcoming, and itβs hard to see how this standard could ever satisfy a paying customer.

Enjoyed a light lunch of two starters each today with my father. He had been to this Hotel many years ago so wanted to see it again. Service was very friendly and despite running out of chicken wings, we chose something else which was equally as good. I had the Salt and Pepper Chicken and Brie Fritters, both of which were good sized portions, and both hot and tasty. My dad had the Prawn Cocktail and the Pate, he enjoyed both, although I thought the toast the pate came with was a bit overdone. We also had wine and coffee, again the drinks and service was good. The restaurant is a little dark, but you get used to it, however this might not bother some. Parking is available to the rear of the hotel and is free.

Was at the night time event. Found the uniforms were outdated and ill fitting. Understand this is a Hotel, but during the night its more a nightclub, so the attire should suit. Took a long time to get a drink 10-15 mins.

We found ourselves back home in Bangor at the same time...something that hadn't happened since we all left to follow our dreams. We had a family dinner together in LeWinters...and there were no complaints...we each had something different, possible because the menu is so varied! Great place, great service and great prices! Highly recommend!

We had the best little Christmas party at Le Winters! We were made to feel so welcome and the food was delicious!! Every course was beautifully presented and the beef stood out as it was so tender. The manager went above and beyond to ensure our every wish was catered for - an absolute gem!

Had a nice family meal on a Sunday evening and the food was very good. Felt like it was a bit overpriced, but an enjoyable meal nonetheless. They had a bouncy castle set up for the kids to play on and gave us colouring in sheets and crayons to keep the kids occupied while we were waiting for our food.
