“Food was gorgeous! I had a turkey and ham dinner. We ordered coffees but after 25 minutes they never arrived so we paid the bill and went elsewhere. We phoned the week prior to book a table and were told just to arrive. We were queued out the door but only had approximately 10 minutes to wait for a table. Staff were very friendly. It was very noisy with people so it was quite difficult to have a conversation.”

The fries were pretty good and not too big a portion. The service was on point throughout and it had a fairly nice ambience not too loud.”

It's very sad to see a good restaurant have to close it's doors, I know Peter has done everything he possibly could to keep Oliver's running, sadly it is just not good times for the hospitality trade. “Mediterranean dinner at Chef and Manager in Newtownards near Belfast. It is one of those places that do not exist on IG, yet known to locals and is always fully packed. We were so lucky to have got recommended it and to actually manage to get a table on a Friday! The food was exquisite, the flavours, the presentation, the staff, everything was done with extra care. One of those places when you feel the owners take it upon themselves to ensure you enjoy every detail. . What you see here is duck breast, so tender! Laid on some veggies, and a selection of sauces. Each of them takes you on a different journey. Second main was a rack of lamb (mint crusted), it had a charcoal flavour and the taste was complemented by Mediterranean veggies. Both dishes came with potato gratin. . For starters, we had beans soup and goat cheese fritters with beetroot and bread. I was so tempted to go there again during out short visit”

“This was our first time at Neill's Hill Brasserie and I'm so glad we decided to give it a go. Just a great meal from start to finish. The staff were so friendly and it had a great atmosphere! Starters were Cauliflower Wings in hot sauce and Halloumi fries, mains were Smoked haddock,mash, poached eggs with mustard cream and chicken schnitzel, desserts were creme brulee and apple tart. My wife had a Grapefruit Gimlet cocktail which she described as "delicious!" I could fault any of these dishes, they all tasted great and every plate was handed back clean! We will 100% be back for more and I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant!”

“Today is the second time in the last few weeks iv had breakfast here due to changing my mechanic, first time was unbeatable the second time just as great, the food is of good quality, fresh and cooked to perfection with no pools off grease as iv experienced in other places, staff are upbeat, friendly and willing to go that extra mile, the cleanliness is at a high standard and portions are generous, this is the best fry iv had in a very long time so in mine and no doubt many others opinions it’s good food high quality without dramas or without eating something just because you’ve paid, honestly give it a try if passing you won’t be disappointed!!
