Had a Christmas lunch here for 11 people this week. The setting was very festive and the food was delicious and the staff could have been more attentive. One of the party had strict food allergies and the chef was fastidious in the preparation of his meal I wholeheartedly recommend this spot in Newtownards

I also was in on the Saturday in question. Yes there was a wait but I am prepared for this on a Saturday. The food is so good. If I am in a hurry I go in earlier the "older man" is the owner in his 30s and does a great job keeping an eye on everything. This is my regular restaurant staff very friendly and efficient will be back soon

This is the location where the non-Northern Irish one of us experienced a proper Ulster Fry for the first time. It is therefore rather special in its own way. We usually arrive mid morning to lunchtime and the Regency is always packed, but you still get seated within a few minutes. Unless it is a larger group. Since it is busy, it can get quite noisy and you might struggle a bit to get a servers attention but that is alright. This place is rather different from our usual reviews as it’s not a pub or a date location. It’s honestly just a simple, incredible restaurant that fits right into Newtownards. It is clearly by the people for the people and what you see is what you get. The food is the perfect amount of grease, it comes out super quick and the servers are very efficient. The toilets and restaurant itself are clean. Don’t expect the superb service of a dainty place or Michelin star food because you‘ll be disappointed. Its rather simple and straightforward. It’s a place to socialise and be happy. And we love it for that. If it would be just the food or just the location or just the staff, this review would be mediocre, but the combination turns it into feel good, stress free indulgence with no fuss. There is not much else to say apart from we are craving to go back for another large fry.

Totally awful, driver left his Regency Van on PRIVATE PROPERTY WITH FULL HEADLIGHTS SHINING DIRECTLY IN MY LIVING ROOM WINDOW while he went to deliver elsewhere. Unapologetic driver cheeky and will be reported to Police with CCTV evidence.

First time for me here, and I can't say a bad thing about it. Brilliant friendly staff can't do enough for us. The food was an excellent price and tasty and restaurant clean and tidy throughout. We will be back to explore the menu more. Cheers Regency.

Very busy, so had to wait for order to be taken. Didn't wait long for food to arrive. Piping hot, average size portions. Prices similar to bar/restaurants. Ordered a honeycomb frappe (£4.50) VERY disappointed, consistency & taste of flavoured milk. No honeycomb in sight & no cream on top. Dont know if this is the normal for their frappe or the person did not know how to make a proper frappe.
