This place seemed perfectly positioned between several of the pubs I wanted to visit. And what I love about Bunsen is the pure simplicity and incredible value, as well as friendly efficient service. It's very similar to 5 Guys, maybe less food options, but the aesthetic here is better
Their menu is simple, just the way I like it. I got a double cheeseburger, sweet potato fries, and a strawberry milkshake. Everything was great and the burger was so juicy. There’s a lot of tables too and it doesn’t get too busy.
Bunsen on Hill Street in Belfast is an absolute gem for burger lovers! Their burgers are top-notch—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I had one recently, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The quality of the ingredients really shines through, and you can truly appreciate the taste when enjoying just the burger on its own. The staff were also incredibly polite and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you're in Belfast and craving a proper burger, Bunsen is definitely the place to go!
Modern burger restaurant with minimalist theme and menu. Food is unbelievably good, easily one of the best burgers I've ever had. Milkshakes are also excellent. Gutted I can't visit regularly, but would seriously consider coming back to Belfast just for another burger.
I casually passed this place while exploring Belfast. What initially caught my eye was the simple menu. I took note and made this the place I wanted to come back and get dinner. Upon arrival I was immediately seated and handed a card that had the menu printed on it. I ordered a glass of wine and anxiously awaited my cheeseburger and shoestring fries. To my left of where I was seated you could see the burgers sizzling away. My burger upon arrival to my table was cooked to perfection. My fries were hot and crispy. My first bite I was in complete bliss! The simplicity of everything but grand flavors of everything. This place is located parallel to a few pubs and is open to 930p. I highly recommend if in the area, very delicious! Cheers!
Food. The beef patties are top quality. Hand made I think. I would have preferred more seasoning on then. Good quality soft buns. Unfortunately it was all quite oily. Chips were high quality. But eat them quickly. They don't travel well. But the burgers do. Had one the next day (don't judge me) it tasted just as good after warming. Staff. Super friendly, it is Ireland after all. Place. Was nice and clean. I prefer honest burgers in England but this is a good shout.
