Always get great honest home cooked meals here. Great selection and great chips. Went for the Christmas chips, best around in my opinion

Nice enough place. They didn’t have enough cod for all 5 of us to have fish and chips which was odd but that happens. Nice enough food. Β£20 for fish and chips seems a little OTT for a basic cafe but it’s not ridiculous prices. Not one to go out your way for but if the Northern Whig won’t let you in cos your wearing trainers then take your parties. Β£120 to them. The staff were very friendly.

This is my favourite cafΓ© in Belfast. It is simple, straightforward and down to earth. The breakfast is wonderful, well cooked and not greasy. I've also had a couple of the lunch options - fish and chips and chicken goujons. Both were excellent. Lovely curry sauce, none of this fruity business, good little lick off of it. They take card or cash. The staff are very efficient yet you don't feel rushed. Far better than the like of Bob and Bert's. First class. Very highly recommended!

Honestly just had my worst meal I’ve ever had in Belfast. Fish and chips, shouldn’t be that hard but wow did they mess it up. Came in two tiny slices, completely burnt and hardly any fish. It was straight up eating bread and batter. It was disappointing and disgusting. I had two bites and just sat there eating the chips. My partner ordered the chili chicken and he said it was just fine, didn’t fee well 45 min later. Too many places here, this was a big waste of money and time. Disgusting.

Was looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat on a trip to Belfast, wanted to try a traditional Ulster Fry. So we came across Bright’s, there was a queue, which is usually a good sign, we were seated in less than 10 minutes. Now to the Ulster Fry, living up to the New York Post banner outside, it’s one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in Belfast, reminiscent of my Grandmothers efforts. Good quality ingredients, cooked well, Heinz beans which is a big plus, proper tea in a pot, at least 3 cups. We also tried the stack, which was a revelation, soda bread, topped with bacon, then potato cake, then sausages, a pancake, topped with 2 eggs - something I’ll be recreating at home. Staff were very friendly and polite, prices are very reasonable, well worth a visit.

Best fish and chips in Belfast, with great service. It's a busy local place but well worth a visit.

Food is really great. They make a lovely fry or chicken burger as well. I imagine most of the menu is quite good. Service is a bit slow and there's not enough tables when it gets busy. There have been days trying to go for a meal that I waited about 10 minutes at the front queue waiting to be seated sjthout any acknowledgment from the staff. When this happened I've left and ate elsewhere. B

Place is not well ventilated and long queues for a meal. We were here with young kids who enjoyed their kids' meal of steak burger and lagsana. I must say that food is delicious - especially the peppercorn pasta is delicious. I looooove it!

We had fish and chips and southern fried chicken wrap. Didn't feel like value for money. The wrap was filled with rockets, although it wasn't mentioned on the menu, but the coleslaw was tasty. The fish was okay but the chips were good. But really friendly staff and good ambience. Maybe will try a different dish next time.

Best Ulster fry in Belfast. Huge choice of foods and drinks, very quick service and friendly staff. Must visit when I'm Belfast
