We had a New Year’s Eve meal of 20+ people at Toros. The service was fantastic. The orders were spot on and delicious. We all left very full and having had a lovely evening. The meal went smoothly and Toros accommodated for us very well. Thank you!
The worst ever steak experience with toros nottingham. Heighly not recomended ever. Promise i really feel bad when i taste it. Meat was taste like spoiled cooked and staff even didnot respond properly when i made complain about food. And i swear this is an honest review. Thanks
Steaks are cooked in consistently, if you ask for medium well, it will be medium well done on one half and the other half will be rare...ie bright pink. We complained and got told sorry, the chef is normally good at this. We won't be returning, place has gone downhill.
Its a good Halal steak house however the food is way overpriced based on the taste and services.
Visited Toro's Steakhouse in Nottingham and left thoroughly disappointed. The mojitos tasted like cheap syrup — more like Tip Top than a proper cocktail. The chicken was red inside, clearly undercooked, so I returned it. The waitress took it away to show the chef but never came back. I had to flag down someone else just to find out what was going on. Eventually, I was asked if I wanted a new platter — by then, I’d lost my appetite and said no. The chips were overcooked, and the onions were burnt black. On top of that, the strawberry daiquiri was way too sweet — just pure sugar, no balance at all. Really poor experience overall. Won’t be returning
Amazing, quality food served by the most friendliest and attentive staff! Portion sizes are generous and the strawberry daiquiri is a must to try! I’ll definitely be returning :)
Fantastic. Nephew loved it. Enough said. I've been back to Toro's since with family and again cant fault the service. The food is also of high quality and good sized portions. Excellent value for money.
Visited Torros in Sneinton, Nottingham this evening on Sunday 30th August and experienced terrible food but more importantly unbelievably bad customer service. We found a hair in the pasta and upon complaining, the manager ( a short slim asian guy) wasn't at all concerned. He did not apologise nor come out to check what the problem was, which I believe a good manager would do. The waitresses sent to us were very rude, particularly the one with light brown/ blonde hair and who wore a lot of makeup. Throughout the meal, we experienced no customer care and poor quality food. Two orders were totally incorrect. Asking for glasses seemed to rile them, considering it is impossible to drink out of their straws as the drink poured out of the bottle as soon as you put the straw in. The waitress bringing in the glasses had such a terrible attitude. We were given cold plates and the inconvenience of having to return food resulted in two people eating cold food. When the reordered food did arrive, the chips were uncooked and the pasta was cold. Also everyone else had finished eating. This was supposed to be an end of exam celebration meal. It left us feeling horrible. The manager had no customer care skills nor any listening skills. He was defensive, patronising and unhelpful. He discounted a £111 bill by £9 and accepted no responsibility. He was unprofessional and lacked any managerial skills. I believe he also spoke to me in this way as I was a woman. We left the full price of the meal out of principle. While talking to the manager, the waitresses took it upon themselves to join in the conversation. I've never experienced that before. Customers are always asked to pay cash, this is another interesting issue regarding the substandard steakhouse. This manager needs retraining and needs to have respect for people. Avoid at all cost.
Best toro’s I’ve had. Nice decor. Good seating. Polite staff. Ample parking. Food was so fresh snd made beautifully. Steak was cooked exactly how I asked. They accept card too. Much better than the one here in Birmingham. Overall I’d recommend this place for sure!
