The food did not disappoint. It was all cooked fresh to order. Every dish was delicious and portion sizes were very generous for the price point. Service was friendly and not rushed, which made for a very enjoyable lunchtime treat.

A little taste of Barcelona in Nottingham. Just up from the original Paul Smith shop. Having lived and worked in Spain for several years, Spanish, tapas style of dining is one of our favourites. With all the new openings in Nottingham recently, we decided to stick to somewhere that's been established for just over 10 years. Where we know the food will be good. As it was lunchtime,we could order from their Menu del dia.Which is also the best value option when eating out in Espana,as most restaurants offer one. Here it is priced at £18.50. Which offers a choice of Catalan bread or Gordal olives.Plus two tapas and one side. Our choices were:- Garlic & chilli prawns lemon, parsley, guindilla. Crispy fried squid in a light coating of cumin, turmeric & paprika flour, lemon aïoli. Salmon`'tikka' red mojo marinated salmon fillet, Bombay potato, curried mayonnaise. Cod tacos freshly crumbed cod fillet, kimchi cabbage, lemon aïoli, pickled red onion, £2.50pp supplement. Sides. Catalan broccoli, grilled tenderstem with romesco sauce, toasted almonds. Patatas bravas, spiced tomato & red pepper sauce, confit garlic aïoli. To finish, coffee & churros for just £4.95. The food did not disappoint. It was all cooked fresh to order. Every dish was delicious and portion sizes were very generous for the price point. Service was friendly and not rushed, which made for a very enjoyable lunchtime treat.

Very cozy, i was craving for cream Catalina, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. I ordered also the Sweet & Sticky PX Beef both was absolutely delicious! The beef was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, with a rich, balanced sweet and spicy flavor.

We came on a Sunday with friends and went for the Menu del Dia which was a served dish style tapas. Consisting of Catalan Bread (ok) Spanish Olives, Cod Taco's (good), Teriyaki Pork Belly (very good), Sweet Crispy Beef (very good) Lamb Flatbread (very good). Our friends had other dishes including Crispy Squid (ok). Overall very well cooked tapas dishes, staff were very nice, the place was lacking that Spanish buzz at 2.30pm on a Sunday afternoon as we were sat in the rear of the restaurant.

Came for tapas; crispy squid, Spanish hot flatbread, meatballs. All reasonably priced, squid was slightly tough but batter was lovely and light and was overall fab. Flat bread was perfect and so delicious, meatballs were also spot on. Sangria passion fruit and mango was also great. Good vibe with plenty of tables and service was really good with polite staff. Mix up on the reciept but was easily sorted. Booked the tables so no wait required. Would recommend!

Lovely tapas restaurant with a great value lunch menu - £15 for Catalan bread/olives to start, 2 tapas and a side. Portions are a lot bigger than I expected and very filling. Really enjoyed the cod tacos (you get two in a portion, but I ate one before taking the picture). Nice selection of sangrias aswell. Great service and lovely decor; I was really pleased with how nice the toilets were aswell.
