   Came in for the first time and what a lively pub it is! Food was great and proper pub food. Staff knew what they were doing and took time to talk and even tell me about an app where I can get discounts based on score predictions. Overall great pub

   Great for watching the football and spending day with friends. More live music, perhaps bands on a Friday or Saturday night?? . Atmosphere can be mainly lively dependingon what is on. Food can be a bit hit and miss depending on who is in the kitchen. Overall a canny pub, good for spending the day with friends and having a nice pint.

   Visited on a Thursday night during Uni drop off. Quiet evening which was just what we were looking for. Don’t know if the regular crowd includes students or not but would seem like a great alternative to the Student Union. Prices are very reasonable. Food was great, no great wait and staff were super friendly.

   What can I say about these two pints of Guinness apart from they’re obviously not the greatest looking . I think although the staff member was nice and polite she probably needs some extra training behind the bar especially on how to pour Guinness . It really was a shame as I wanted to stay and have a few more and something to eat , the atmosphere on a Wednesday afternoon was good but I really couldn’t stomach any more

   We came on a wintery snowy Thursday and were greeted with a warm welcome by Owen who served us I ordered the gammon egg and chips and it was the best I’ve had for a long time. The coconut sponge was light and yummy ideal pudding on a bleak winters day. Super fast service and the all staff excelled in customer service Hope to return to the Peacock very soon

   Lovely pub, food not bad either. But a couple of the bar staff are so rude. They do not know how to speak to paying customers. Think they have got away with it for so long. Doe's the landlady know how some customers are spoke to. All I asked after 25 mins can u please tell me if my hot chocolate is on its. And all I got back was, we was busy. Must of been waiting for the new kettle to be delivered from argos.

   Came for the Christmas menu with family at the weekend and iv got to say the food was amazing it was quick coming out and lovely and hot. 10/10 for the burger nicest burger iv ever tasted got to speak the the chef lil so we could tell her well done will definitely be back

   Booked 15 for a birthday meal with family for my wife, got to say, was pleasantly surprised. From ordering the food , which was a very fair price to leaving the pub, not a problem. Staff were helpful to say it was busy due to England game. All food was brought at same time, hot and without any issue. Thank you to the staff, it was a great night, and would recommend . Once again Thank you.
