   Restaurant was a new experience recommended from a friend. To start, complementary popcorn was great while we ordered, service from the waitress was very welcoming and friendly. Atmosphere was fantastic, couldn’t fault it. Menu had plenty of appealing choices that left me needing a few extra minutes to decide for the first time in a while because it all looked so good. I had the tray of bbq chicken wings, ribs, chicken, and fries. Additionally, I had the poutine style tater tots on the side. Service sent the food at a very quick time, didn’t feel like we were waiting all too long. The food was excellent. One of the best meals I’ve had in weeks, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend the poutine tater tots I was so tempted to order another portion. My only small gripe is it felt a little expensive in terms of price to portion on the tray dishes. Given how good it tasted though, I didn’t mind it. All in all, a great experience, would definitely recommend again. Can’t wait to return

   Had a fantastic meal at Hickory’s Smokehouse in Nottingham last Saturday night with friends! The food was genuinely impressive — hands down the best BBQ I’ve had from anywhere in the UK. The meats were cooked perfectly, full of flavour, and had that authentic smoky taste that’s so hard to find done right over here unless I'm doing it on my BBQ at home!! The staff were brilliant too — super friendly, attentive, and brought a fun, relaxed vibe to the whole experience. It really made the visit even more enjoyable. Definitely planning to return soon. If you’re into BBQ and haven’t been yet, you’re missing out!!

   Went at lunchtime on a Saturday and we were advised to book in advance and I'm glad we did! The place was packed with different groups: some large birthday groups, families and even couples eating at the counter. We ate in the bar area as we had dogs with us, so we didn't get table service like the restaurant. They do lots of evening events, such as quiz nights and NFL games. This place is incredibly popular and I can see why. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

   Was mine and my husband's first time eating at Hickory's and it did not disappoint. We visited for our 9 year Anniversary. Food was absolutely amazing, staff were so friendly, probably the friendliest staff I have ever met. Atmosphere was brilliant. Service was very quick. Literally no complaints what so ever. Was even surprised with a happy anniversary donut and sparkler! Lovely touch ❤️ Have already recommended Hickory's and will definitely be back!

   I read the reviews about this place and all seemed very good. Went through their website to book a table, there was limited availability, this was understandable as I was booking for the same day and it is the festive season, but still managed to get a 20:30 table. We arrived early and received a warm welcome. We were guided to the bar, as our table wasn't ready, which was fine. The place was very busy and quite noisy, but for us this added to the atmosphere. We were collected and lead to our table which was quite close to the kitchen, which looked very clean and incredibly busy. Our server, Jordan, greeted us and welcomed us on our first visit, he was genuinely interested in us having a good time. Jordan asked if we had seen anything on the menu, which was extensive, but then asked if we would like to hear his recommendations, which we did, one of which was the platter which I had my eye on, so we went for that. It arrived on a massive tray, the meat was so tasty and perfectly cooked, it was a sharing platter for 2 but I think it would have fed 3. There was no part of that meal that wasn't delicious, I am fussy when paying money for meals and I couldn't fault it. They do add a 7.5% gratuity to the bill, this is totally optional and can be removed, but to be honest why would you, this guy was attentive, fetched drinks for us, and made sure we were happy, he was worth every penny. With drinks (1 was a cocktail) I think we spent about £75 but it was excellent food, oh yes and our wedding anniversary too so worth every penny. There were less expensive items on the menu, which we intend to try next time. To sum up, great food, great service and great atmosphere, we will definitely be back!

   The atmosphere was great. Food was good, i did think that some of the food would be a bit more juicer, but the sauces did make it up. Loved how they got an extensive play area and cinema screen for the kids. The waitress that we had was amazing, we had great banter with her, and joined in on a birthday bet. She was amazing. We didnt manage to catch her name which was a shame, but she made the night even more enjoyable.

   This place is amazing, I am not sure how I didn't know about it earlier. I had a great meal with my wife and 6 month old son. The place is very family friendly, my son got a flag (great idea) and a kids pack. They were also happy to provide a high chair. We had the £50 sharer platter that is basically a bit of everything. A lot of food and was really nice. We took the remainders home in a box for later. The milkshakes and sodas are really nice. For desert the marshmallow camp fire was really fun. They have a good kids menu also. The service was great, the food was great, the ambience was great. We didn't want to leave. They even have a cinema room! We will be back again for sure. 100% recommend.

   Our first visit… on a Friday night. Served quickly. Fantastic table service and lovely staff. Enjoyed a good Turkey burger and we all tried numerous sides. Loved the grape soda. No tum tum room for pudding, but will come again. Good atmosphere.
