Proper old style pub. Great real ales. This ol cowboy loved this saloon. Took the tribe and they were all welcome, even the hound. They do London Pride which is one of my favourites. Even table service. It was really busy so that says something. Room outside for overflow and chuffers.

Came here yesterday on way home for a couple drinks. Our favourite pub in area since moving 4 years ago. Service & friendliness of all staff excellent. Great selection of beers and ciders. Nice seating area outside opposite the pub when sunny. Dog friendly inside & out. Proper country pub feel even though situated in back streets of Plympton.

Lovely hidden away pub only the locals know with a warm welcome and feel. Small beer garden out front overlooking period buildings and the chime of the church bells . What more do you need. Peaceful and tranquil.

Went to this place for my son's birthday bash. Nice old pub situated in old area of Plympton St. Maurice. Near an old castle ruins. They little place not to big with beer garden across the road. Reasonable selection of drinks but not to big. Very old style pub inside with various items dotted around from decades gone by. Staff were pleasant and helpful. It does have TV for sport. Toilets are easy to access and aren't to bad. Could get filled pretty quick as not that big inside. Function room upstairs with pool table but quite small. And steps up are quite steep. Guess that's to for with olde style of pub. The buffet food G mtptpaw was really good and if your have a small bash I do highly recommend you have their food. It's not to hard to find as it's just off main road down into St. Maurice. If are near by pop in its worth it.

Great beer choices, regularly changed, a bit like a mini beer festival each week! Friendly staff, interesting decor. A proper pub, definitely not a Neverspoons!

Lovely to see 8 ales on tap. Friendly staff. Very reasonable beer prices. Dogs welcome, with a water bowl available for them.
