   It is with a heavy heart that I write this review. My partner and I moved to the area 6 years ago and Seco lounge was at the time a great place to go - welcoming, with good food, great service and a friendly atmosphere. We were regulars - even outside the tourist season. However, since the original manager and some of the excellent front-of-house and chef staff moved on the standards have slipped to the point of Tuesday night's experience. We ordered two sets of the tapas and the cheese fries. The food arrived after 45 minutes - cold - and with the garlic mayo slathered on two dishes despite the explicit request that it be served on the side. After sending the food back it was replaced with dishes we hadn't ordered. To add insult to injury the Korean prawns arrived not only dry and burnt but also cold. This used to be our go-to place, we've taken friends and family and work colleagues to eat there. No more. The standards have steadily slipped to the point where this is now like a wetherspoons - impersonal, uncaring service, overwhelming loud music, excessive wait times - without the cheap beer & food prices. We won't be back

   The food was fine, it was a little too greasy for me, but the rest of my party liked it. The portions were small for all of us though and that's hardly ever the case for me. The staff was kind and fast enough and the location is great. If you're in the area, it's a nice place for a cocktail at least :)

   Pleasantly surprised at how nice the food was! We went here for my father's birthday meal because we didn't have much luck with getting a table anywhere else We were expecting it to be overpriced & for the food to be mediocre at best, due to it's location being in the Royal William yard Our assumptions were proven wrong as the food & drinks were actually decently priced & to our surprise, the food was actually pretty good! I had the birria tacos which were the best tacos that I've had in Plymouth; the menu had some interesting options & was definitely different from your standard Plymouth eatery menu! The location is very nice, being in the historic Royal William Yard There is also outdoor seating with nice views of the surrounding historic buildings & water! Overall, we all enjoyed the meal & I'd definitely come back again

   Amazing place. Highly recommend One of my favourite places to eat in Plymouth. Stunning views. Great location Staff are welcoming friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. Plenty of choices. Vegetarian options dietary preferences available. Seating is great, lots of room. Accessible toilets. My work hired the back room for our Christmas party. There was a private bar, staff were fab. Tables were done up. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Will return again.

   Great selection for people with allergies and vegans. Relaxed informal atmosphere, super friendly staff who obviously enjoy what they're doing. This place is in a great location, the menu is extensive and the quality is excellent. Also very close to some beautiful views of the sea so if you're there you can really enjoy the views

   Great selection for people with allergies and vegans. The food photo is the vegan tapas. Relaxed informal atmosphere, super friendly staff who obviously enjoy what they're doing. All round perfect whether it's for two people or twenty, there's something for everyone.
