Excellent choice of shoes, but I really came here to give a massive shout out to Mark, the most helpful & patient shoe shop assistant ever - I hope he wasn't too traumatised by our long but ultimately successful visit!
My family have been using this shop for the last year or so, but today was the first time I had visited. The shop itself is very pleasant for a customer. Spacious, bright, colourful, clean, all makes for a very welcoming environment. Mark was just brilliant today, all whilst my child was screaming the shop down as they're not a fan of shoe fittings! Cannot recommend this shop enough, and will definitely be back.
Tried to get a pair of white trainers for myself in a size 3 1/2. I was told that they don't sell that size. ☹️☹️☹️

The staff are friendly and helpful even during busy sale periods. However, be warned that they will only exchange or give store credit a policy which is not well publicised in store. Found this to my cost today so I won't be shopping there again.
Such lovely staff both times I went in yesterday, took time with me even though they were so busy with ‘back to school’ fittings. I purchased most adorable pair of Ruby Shoos (that I have been looking at for a while). Once I got home decided to go back and try a different size. This was no trouble for the staff - and I was right needed a size smaller. The sizing of Ruby Shoos is numbered differently to other shoe brands. A massive thank you to those that I spoke to and who helped me at Friary Shoes … keep up the good work!
Amazing family run business, Staff go above and beyond for every customer and nothing is too difficult or a trouble. Great sized store with lot's of staff to assist. Quick service turn around and happy smiles from all! Staff do the best for each customer!
