Lovely bar. But the attitude of Santa Claus bouncer needs to improve. Everyone was ready to leave and just singing the last played song in the bar, but he was very aggressive asking people to leave. We pointed out it was 5mins to closure time as a bit of banter to say "we're gonna leave after this" and he got very confrontational telling us to leave immediately.

Nice little bar whether you are upstairs or downstairs. Downstairs is brighter and the upstairs is a little more cozy and fun decor filled with images of the sacred heart plus some random dressy dogs. The pina coladas are surprisingly delicious.

This bar used to be one of my favorites but the level of service has seriously went downhill. The girl that served us tonight was rude and totally incompetent. When we asked for drink it was a major hassle. Then when we went out for a cigarette a came back ahead had binned all our drinks.

Having been before this was maybe an off night? Ordered 2 mojitos and was deeply disappointed with the quality of what was offered. The bartender seemed to be referring to an ingredient sheet often, and it took almost 15 minutes to prepare 2 drinks. When challenged about the quality of the drinks, another bartender became very defensive, alleging that he had trained the other member of staff. It must have been very recently based on what we witnessed and was going to say tasted but that wouldnβt be an accurate description. Wonβt be back, quality of drinks plus staff attitudes not great

Stumbled upon this bar when walking along the street, heard the music from outside and could hear the atmosphere, very small, busy place with a different feel upstairs from downstairs. We went upstairs to find the rugby was on TV (bonus). The place was very busy but people so friendly and we found a couple of stools to sit on, everyone was chatty. There was a spot of bother in the bar with an unwanted customer and the staff dealt with this swiftly and efficiently. Small, friendly, cosy but a good laugh. No frills, good beers and music!

Might not be some people's taste but we loved it. Small, cosy bar with some interesting characters. Over 80 different rums. Guinness was good. Rock and Metal music playing. My type of pub.

Friday night, after the gay bar, we wanted a last drink on the way back to the hotel. This place was heaving, crammed with tourists but also plenty of locals, had THE BEST music soundtrack and the coolest staff and decor. Truly original and not to be missed. Also a happy moment of respite for anyone who's heard 'galway bay' on fiddle and voice done too many times this week already. This is a fresh vibe. Queer friendly too.
