   Now reopened and running well. Small pool is very warm so good for littluns/not freezing whilst looking after them. Big pool is fine and often very quiet - a bit shallow at shallow end but fine. Café area bright and airy with view over field

   When open this is a nice pool... Nice changing rooms, and a good kids pool. Sadly however sessions get cancelled at very last minute so you can't really trust what's on the website !

   I love this gym, it's Aircon is so good, it's a nice view out over parts of Bristol. It's usually quiet and the machines are nice and not all worn out and run down looking like they tend to get in your high street gyms. Everything is nicely spaced out and laid out. You just download the app and you get a QR code which you just scan to go through the barriers. After I purchased the membership they called me to check if I had any questions and the staff seem nice enough. I want it to be successful but I'm also loving how quiet it is.

   Currently undergoing renovations, which are much needed. The current changing rooms are temporary and on an old squash court. The length of time this is taking is frustrating for all I am sure but the staff remain positive and friendly. Have been using this pool for several years and now have membership which means I can take my kids swimming whenever I want. My daughter loves the lessons and the pool is usually very warm. The cafe whilst basic is a firm favourite with the bouncy castle great entertainment for the kids. I know once the renovations are done there will be a much better space for us to enjoy. Looking forward to it being complete!

   Appalling !!! We had such an awful experience. Do NOT book this venue for your children’s birthday party ! After looking around different venues, our child was set on the combo soft play- bouncy castle available at Filton leisure Center. I was pleased to have been organised enough to book it well in advance and had confirmed with the staff there that the soft play area would be booked and that we would have access to the cafe and the bouncy castle afterwards. Despite having NO confirmation email, contract or any written form or booking we were happy to trust the staff. Despite stressing the fact that the bouncy castle was not part of the booking as such, we were expressly told repeatedly that we couldn’t bring our own food as the cafe would be open for our guests to buy refreshments and snacks. On the very day of our child s birthday, when we arrived at the venue, the reception told us that the cafe was closed, the bouncy castle wasn’t on and end off. We were fuming and after a fruitless conversation with the staff, they all disappeared ! The reception was shut, the cafe was shut and that was that. What a horrible experience for a child who had planned to celebrate with their friends their birthdays and only had the experience of the soft play (of course we didn’t have any food or drinks for the parents or children !!!) UNBELIEVABLE ! We had booked kingsdown leisure Center in the past and everything ran so smoothly, was exactly as planned - we would recommend them but we’re NEVER booking Filton leisure centre again !

   Eternal construction site (with no evident construction going on). The instructors don't bother updating the notes (so you never know if your kids are progressing). I've actually got child protection concerns since parents aren't allowed to watch their young children in lessons. Avoid.

   Its a good local place with basic facilities like swimming well maintained outdoor gym, kids park, large ground, kids centre etc.
