Service was very good, friendly and welcoming with great recommendations for drinks. But unfortunately the food was poor, we ordered 6 dishes , halloumi fries, mushroom bruschetta, broccoli dish, pork meatballs, steak, and patatas bravas most of them were very salty which left us disappointed. Food was well presented
We visited 2Taps on a friend's recommendation for our 15th wedding anniversary! Very happy with the choice, met with a glass of prosecco, followed by cracking food and a desert cocktail! Staff were lovely and polite and it wasn't too busy at the time we visited. We will definitely be visiting again!
We have wanted to try 2 taps for a long while, but never got around to it. Well we are glad we did! We hadn't even booked a table, but decided to try our luck in early evening. We were greeted by the manager, who gave us a friendly welcome, and seated us no problem at all. The restaurant is very spacious inside and has that Spanish feel. We were looked after by the charming Adam most of the evening as well as a lovely waitress. Both were very attentive and accommodating. We are both vegetarians so we ordered 5 dishes, as well as the bread. The menu for vegetarians is impressive and imaginative. It was great to see they had made an effort as us veggies usually get boring dishes! Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. I dont understand why other reviews stated portions are small. We found the portion generous for 2 people sharing. We will certainly be recommending 2 taps to our guests and we, ourselves will return very soon. Thank you all for a lovely experience.
Make sure you book a table as it gets busy and rightly so. Great atmosphere, friendly servers. The food and tapas selection is great. If I had the belly space I would have ordered everything. Also if you have a late booking they have Happy hour on some amazing cocktails from 10 - 11pm. Highly recommended a visit.
Such a lovely place. I was concerned about the "outdoor seating" but there was no need, there were heaters dotted around and it was such a good atmosphere. As gluten intolerant is was great to see all allergens listed. They recommend 2-3 dishes pp. Everything was so good! There was a pork belly special which was lovely. It came with thin slices of apple. It would have been nicer with the apple shredded just to make it easier to eat but it was good! Favourite dish for me was probably the chrorizo or the halloumi salad. Sangria was good too. Nice level of music, staff were helpful but not intrusive
Found the restaurant on the internet and chose it as it is close to the hotel we are staying and had good reviews. Think it is overrated. Took a number of dishes. The majority was ok, but nothing exceptional. We only really enjoyed 1 of them. The environment was loud for our liking. The staff was very polite, but as it was busy they were running like crazy.
Amazing tapas in Belfast! Two of us went here on Saturday at 8:15 - we were seated immediately and food/drinks came very fast when ordered! Staff were so friendly and on the ball! The food was amazing! All together we got 6 dishes and 4 cocktails! The highlight for me was the salad with halloumi! But all the food was amazing! The cocktails were sweet and strong! Deffo will go again as the price was v fair for what we got!
