   I should really give it 5* as walking in made me feel like Burt Reynolds - minus the toupée (head rug for any of you barbarians out there) - on the film Deliverance. Odd smell - cross between cat litter + old people's home at 5pm. Not altogether winning. Ever walked in somewhere - + now, I have to say I'm an old bald bloke so nondescript his wife lost him 20 years ago + still can't find him - + everyone stares at you? No - I'm not on drugs. Perhaps unfortunately. I expect the music would've stopped - if they had music. Thought it unwise to sit down, so bought loaf - which seems OK. Girl serving ached to be surly by using politeness belligerently. I wonder if she did a BA in that? More likely an MA. Oh well. Home now.

   Very clean,lovely decor..nice calm atmosphere even when busy.Food was lovely and great value.Staff were friendly and helpful as this was my first time going here with my partner. -Good vaule -Clean -Fast -Organished After our food we got some treats which were delicious!

   Fab service warm and inviting loads of seating. Lunches are great salad s fish N chips, roast dinners soft filled rolls great choice of cakes, tray bakes, scones, Thier apple tart and fresh cream is to due for. Good tea and coffee offers take away too.

   Just popped in for a snack and had coconut fingers and tea. Very nice. The place is kept spotless and all tables are wiped down immediately. It is still a very popular destination.

   Sausages rolls, Florentines cappuccino coffee on clean tables with soft seats in a relaxed environment. Not too crowded but plenty of pleasant staff to serve us and continuously clean tables and floors.full marks to Knott's staff. The bakery before we escape to street entices us in,rich fruit cake,lemon drizzle cake, fruit squares,German biscuits (don't mention the war ) prepared dinners and may favourite ,one of their savory pies!
