Able to find products easily, helpful and friendly staff, willing to go over and above what they are doing.
After standing in queue for 10mins @ a manned till, as I refuse to use self-service. At no stage was I informed that some credit / debit cards were not being accepted. Shopping was scanned, I used the only 2 cards that I have to be told they were having problems with some Mastercard today. I told till operator I had no other method of payment, to be told I could go outside & use the cash machine !! which I had no intention of doing as it destroyed my card last time I used it. 20 mins wasted. Sainsbury's used to be my go to store but over the past couple of yrs it just gets progressively worse with less staff @ every visit. Now Lidl totally different story. Wins every time. Sainsbury's get your act together
Open after 21:00 on Saturdays - that's an achievement in the post-covid world of excuses. Some interesting deals on hard liquor here. Bananas are here! Both Tesco and Lidl regularly sell out of decent-sized bananas, this place does not .
Customer service today was uncalled for went to exchange pjs for a smaller size and the girl that was supposed to be assisting me could not care less. She knocked my receipt onto the floor when she threw the pjs on top of the bag she couldn’t even put the new pjs back in the bag. This is absolutely disgusting service from a big chain such of yourselves you would need to look at your customer service

I called in to pick up an item in Argos but I also found a few goodies in the supermarket. Love their products. store is always tidy and clean too.
