   I’ve had several unpleasant experiences at this café. Today, I was told to leave because I was eating something I bought from Tesco itself, not from the café. This isn’t the first time it’s happened — on a previous visit, I was asked to leave with my children because they were drinking soft drinks from KFC, even though I had purchased a cappuccino from the café. I completely understand cafés having rules about outside food and drink, but the way the staff handled it was unnecessarily rude and embarrassing, especially in front of my kids. I shop at Tesco regularly and would expect a bit more understanding and courtesy from the café team, especially when customers are already making purchases there. Really disappointed — this experience has made me think twice about visiting the Tesco Café again.

   I ordered two matchas, onw vanilla and one strawberry and it was absolutely delicious. It wasnt too expensive too, around £4 for one and the size was quite good. I would definitely go back as it was incredibly tasty and addictive

   My daughter and I often have a coffee and a muffin here and it's always really nice. The menu has changed and we popped in for lunch, toasties and a side of fries and hash brown bites. The seasoned fries were lovely. The staff are all pleasant and polite, lovely coffee

   Me and my mom had the worst possible service at this cafe. We ordered 3 cold drinks and 2 hot meals off the lunch menu. People who were served after us were given food and drinks before us and the staff were very slow. One member of staff was just standing around while the other made the drinks. We then got our food before our drinks which was not good. The food is normally enjoyable to eat but the past few days the food has been hard to swallow. The chips are cooked then left to dry under the heater then put in the microwave to heat up. The scampi was just right not too hard or too soft. The mushy peas were dry as if they were heated up in the microwave. The only decent thing on my plate was the tartar sauce and the scampi. Me and my mom we eat at least twice sometimes 3 times a week at this cafe and yet the service is shockingly below average. I have tried other food items and sometimes the food is good and other times the food is really bad. This cafe needs to improve on the quality of service and the quality of food. If I see improvement I Will give my review 5 stars but from what I've experienced the service and food is 2-3 stars only. I would give less but the reason for the 3 stars is 1 star for the service and 2 stars for the food. For the price we pay we expect more quality if not quantity. Until I see a big improvement on the quality if service and food my review stays as 3 stars.
