   We recently held a wake at The Cabin in Sedgley and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jemma was absolutely fabulous – her care, attention, and support made such a difference on the day. The whole team were amazing, ensuring everything ran smoothly and with such kindness. The food was fabulous, beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The room itself was just lovely, providing a comfortable and welcoming space at a difficult time. We would highly recommend The Cabin, Sedgley to anyone – the staff, food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional.

   The staff were super friendly, they were very accommodating for children as well and had a small corner for toys for kids to play with. The food was amazing, the perfect amount, I had the cheese & bacon burger, highly recommended. It was bar service so once you knew what you wanted you would order at the bar. Within 10minutes we had ordered and had drinks.

   My husband and I visited this evening (Thursday) and took advantage of the 2 steaks and a bottle of wine deal. It was fabulous, steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were plentiful. Really tasty, nice atmosphere, great service. What more do you want on a Thursday evening for £30. We will definitely do it again.

   Had a meal there about 5 weeks ago and was gorgeous. Steak on bloomer and friend had hunters chicken. It was all so good we decided to make it regular and returned. Well the experience this was awful. The steak was chewy and the bread was just 2 slices of run of the mill bread not a bloomer by any means. Couldn't pick it up it was soggy. Hunters chicken was dry and the whole meal wasn't very nice. Don't know if chef has changed but something certainly had which is a shame as like I said previously 10/10.

   Lovely friendly helpful staff, had the lasagne which was really nice but some aspects of salad were a bit dodgy to say the least, my partner had a fish finger sandwich which he just couldn't eat, the bread was really dry and fell apart when he took a bite also the salad on it didn't look to fresh either , but the staff couldn't have been nicer in bringing him something else from menu, he went for lasagne to and he wasn't charged the extra, salad looked ok but he decided against eating it, hence the 3 stars.
